Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Bolt.new costs $0 on Free with 1M tokens a month, $25 a month on Pro with at least 10M tokens, and $30 per member on Teams. Paid tokens roll over one extra month and reloads never expire. The catch is that each message costs more tokens as your project grows, so the same plan covers far fewer changes on a big app.

What the limits mean
Tokens. A token is a small chunk of text the AI reads or writes. Bolt says most usage comes from reading and syncing your project files, so tokens per message scale with project size, not just with how hard your request is.
Daily cap. Free stops at 300K tokens a day. On a mid sized project, that can be one or two meaningful changes. Pro removes the daily cap.
Rollover. Paid tokens last two months from the start of the cycle they were issued in. Use them by the end of the next month.
Reloads. Extra tokens bought on Pro never expire. Bolt says the price varies by plan tier and that upgrading is usually cheaper than reloading.
Web requests. Hosting caps of 333k requests on Free and 1M on Pro cover most small business sites.
Hidden costs
- Growing projects. The same edit costs more tokens in month three than in week one as the codebase grows.
- Fix loops. Trustpilot reviewers describe the AI introducing errors and spending tokens to fix them. Roll back rather than looping.
- Max agent. The Max agent handles harder work on paid plans; Bolt describes Standard, not Max, as the token efficient option.
- Teams per member billing. Five people cost $150 a month, and unused tokens on one seat cannot help another.
- Training default. Not a dollar cost, but Bolt's privacy policy allows training on content created from October 7, 2026 by accounts outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland unless you opt out.
Worked examples
Free landing page. A new single page site with a form fits inside the 1M monthly tokens for most builders, published on Bolt hosting with Bolt branding. Cost: $0.
Pro, mid sized app. At one reviewer's figure of 212K tokens per small change, 10M tokens cover about 47 changes a month, or about $0.53 each. Making copy and style edits by hand in Code view, which costs no tokens, stretches the plan.
Unused month. You use 6M of 10M tokens in October. The remaining 4M roll into November, giving you 14M for that month. Anything left at the end of November expires.
Team of five. Teams costs $150 a month. If two people build heavily and three rarely, consider Pro seats only for the heavy builders, or a shared credit builder such as Lovable.
Yearly billing. At up to 28% off, Pro can fall to about $18 a month on annual terms, according to Bolt's stated maximum saving.

| v0 | $30 per user with $30 of credits | Tokens by model | 7 messages a day |

Frequently asked questions
How much does Bolt.new cost?
Free is $0 with 1M tokens a month. Pro is $25 a month billed monthly, starting at 10M tokens, with higher token tiers available. Teams is $30 per member per month billed monthly. Enterprise is custom. Yearly billing saves up to 28%.
How many tokens do I need on Bolt.new?
It depends on project size, because Bolt reads and syncs your project files on every message. A small landing page uses few tokens per prompt; a large app can use hundreds of thousands per change. One Trustpilot reviewer reported 212K tokens for a small targeted change.
Do Bolt.new tokens roll over?
Yes on paid plans. Unused monthly tokens stay valid for two months from the start of the billing cycle in which you received them. Reload tokens on Pro do not expire. Free tokens do not roll over.
Are Bolt.new Teams tokens shared?
No. Each member gets their own monthly token allotment. A heavy user cannot borrow from a light user's balance.
What happens when I run out of Bolt.new tokens?
On Free you wait for the daily or monthly reset. On a paid plan you can buy reload tokens, upgrade to a higher tier, or wait for your renewal date. Bolt says upgrading is the most cost effective way to get more tokens.
Is Bolt.new Pro worth it?
For small projects, yes: 10M tokens, no daily cap, custom domains, no branding and 1M web requests for $25. For large apps, tokens per message rise with project size, so a credit or effort based builder may cost less.
