Travis Moher is the founder and editor in chief of BestBots. He builds AI agents for a living and has run the businesses that buy them, which is the combination every review on this site depends on.

Before BestBots, Travis was general manager of ConsumerAffairs, where he helped build the consumer review platform: verified customer reviews, rating methodology and the comparison pages shoppers use to choose companies. That is the playbook behind BestBots: published methods, dated facts, verified reader reviews and scores a company cannot buy.

Today he runs Theory Road, a creative and performance marketing company in Austin, Texas, and builds AI products and automation through Moher AI: AI receptionists and call handling, voice agents and dialers, CRM and helpdesk integrations, and AI content and research pipelines. He has wired up, priced and replaced many of the tools reviewed here, from voice platforms and chatbots to agent builders and coding agents.
