What each limit means in practice
The free tier is generous on features but tight on counts:

Standard removes those caps by unlocking "unlimited commands and modules." That is the real reason most servers upgrade, along with levels.
- A moderation first server can stay on free: automod and tickets are included.
- A community that wants XP and leaderboards needs Standard.
- A streamer or creator server needs Premium for Twitch, YouTube, TikTok or Kick alerts.
- A brand or esports org that wants the bot to carry its own name and avatar needs Custom.

Yearly is the default view on Dyno's premium page and the better deal on every plan. Monthly only makes sense if you are testing for a month or two.
Hidden costs
- Per server pricing. Every plan covers one server. Two servers on Premium yearly cost $119.98 a year. Dyno lists no multi server bundle.
- Leveling is not free. If leveling is the reason you picked Dyno over MEE6, budget for Standard.
- Alerts jump you a tier. Social integrations are Premium only, so a streamer pays $2 a month more than Standard.
- No lifetime plan. Unlike MEE6, Dyno sells only monthly and yearly.
Worked examples
A 500 member gaming server that wants levels. Standard yearly: $49.99 a year. Same need on MEE6: $24.99 the first year, then $49.99. On Carl-bot (levels are premium): $79.59 a year on Patreon.
A Twitch streamer's community. Dyno Premium yearly: $59.99 a year for alerts, levels and unlimited commands. MEE6 yearly with alerts: $24.99, then $49.99. Carl-bot covers 2 Twitch alerts free.
