Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Figure 03 is the most production advanced home humanoid that Figure has documented, but you cannot buy one. Figure reported 350+ units built by April 2026 at 1 per hour, and its Helix 2.5 model tidied and made beds in 30 unseen homes at a 56% success rate. It has published no consumer price or date. For a home humanoid you can reserve, see the 1X NEO.

Figure 03 is the most production advanced home humanoid on paper, with 350+ delivered from BotQ by April 2026 and a 30 home zero shot test. You still cannot buy one: Figure has published no consumer price or sales date.

What it is
Figure 03 is the third generation humanoid from Figure AI, announced on October 9, 2025. Figure designed it for homes and for commercial work at scale, and built it for manufacturability: die casting, injection molding and stamping instead of machined parts, assembled at Figure's own BotQ factory.
Figure's 2025 to 2026 news feed tells the story of a company moving from demos to volume: Helix learns laundry (August 2025) and dishwasher loading (September 2025), Figure 03 launch (October 2025), Helix 02 full body autonomy (January 2026), living room and bedroom tidy demos (March and May 2026), the production ramp (April 2026), F.03 arriving at BMW (June 2026), and Helix 2.5 in 30 homes (September 2026). It also decommissioned Figure 02 in September 2026.
Pricing explained
Figure has not published consumer pricing, a preorder or a sales date. Its launch post describes initial BotQ capacity of 12,000 humanoids a year and a goal of 100,000 robots over four years, which points to commercial customers first.
If you are budgeting for a humanoid, the only published consumer terms in October 2026 are 1X NEO's announced $20,000 purchase or $499 per month, and Unitree's listed research prices. See how much a humanoid robot costs.
Key features
Vision built for Helix
Figure says the new camera system has twice the frame rate, a quarter of the latency and a 60% wider field of view per camera than Figure 02. Each palm also carries a wide angle, low latency camera, so the robot can see what its hand is doing inside a cabinet or under a towel.
Tactile hands
Fingertip tactile sensors detect forces as small as 3 grams, which Figure says is fine enough to hold fragile or irregular objects without slipping or crushing them.
Actuators and body
Actuators run twice as fast with better torque density than Figure 02, and the robot has 9% less mass and much less volume. The body uses soft textiles and multi density foam at pinch points instead of hard shells.
Wireless charging and data offload
2 kW inductive charging lets it dock without plugs, and 10 Gbps mmWave data offload moves training data off the robot quickly.
Production
By April 29, 2026, Figure said BotQ had delivered over 350 Figure 03 units, with throughput up from 1 per day to 1 per hour in under 120 days, end of line first pass yield above 80%, a battery line at 99.3% first pass yield, and over 9,000 actuators built. That is the most detailed production disclosure any humanoid maker had published.
Helix 2.5 in real homes
In September 2026 Figure ran Helix 2.5 in 30 Bay Area homes with no data collected from any of them first. Across room tidying, towel folding and bed making, the zero shot success rate was 56%. Figure wrote that this does not mean general humanoid robotics is solved, only that behaviors are starting to transfer to unfamiliar homes.
What users say
There are no consumer owners and no rating base. Commercial deployment at BMW is the main real world signal.
Privacy and security
Figure's launch post covers physical and battery safety in detail: foam and textiles at pinch points, and battery safeguards at the management system, cell, interconnect and pack levels with UN38.3 certification. It does not address camera data, training use or remote operation in homes. Any household deployment should come with clear terms on those before you let it in.

What to watch next
Three signals would tell you Figure 03 is becoming a consumer product. First, a published price or a waitlist with terms, the step 1X took with NEO. Second, a privacy and remote operation policy for homes, covering camera data, training use and whether people can teleoperate the robot in your house. Third, a rising zero shot success rate on household tasks: 56% across 30 homes in September 2026 is the baseline to beat.
Figure's pace suggests updates will come quickly. In the twelve months to September 2026 it shipped Helix 02, published two home tidy demos, ramped BotQ to an hourly rate, put F.03 to work at BMW, signed a deal with Catalyst Brands to scale humanoid operations, and announced a compute partnership with Nscale for up to 100,000 GPUs. We will update this page when Figure publishes consumer terms.
Who it is for
- Businesses exploring humanoid pilots.
- Anyone tracking which home humanoid is closest to working.
Who should skip it
- Households that want to buy a humanoid in 2026; there is no consumer sale.
- Anyone who needs published privacy terms for in home cameras.
Alternatives
- 1X NEO: the home humanoid you can reserve, at an announced $20,000 or $499 per month.
- Tesla Optimus: not for sale, fewer published numbers. See Tesla Optimus vs Figure 03.
- Unitree G1: on sale at a listed $13,500 for research and development.
All ranked in best humanoid robots.
Verdict
Figure 03 is the strongest evidence that home humanoids are getting real: hundreds built, an hourly production rate, tactile hands and published home results across 30 houses. It is also clearly not a consumer product yet, with no price, no date and a 56% zero shot success rate that Figure itself frames as early. Watch it closely; buy elsewhere if you want one this year.

Can you buy a Figure 03?
Not as a consumer. Figure has not published a price, preorder or sales date. Its robots go to internal R&D, data collection, housework development, commercial customers such as BMW, and residential homes for field service, per its April 2026 production update.
How much does Figure 03 cost?
Figure has not published a price for Figure 03. For humanoids with published terms, see 1X NEO (announced $20,000 or $499 per month) and Unitree G1 (listed at $13,500).
What can Figure 03 do in a home?
Figure has published videos and results of Helix models tidying living rooms and bedrooms, loading a dishwasher and folding laundry. In September 2026 Helix 2.5 did room tidying, towel folding and bed making in 30 Bay Area homes it had never seen, with a 56% success rate. Figure said the point is not that general robotics is solved.
What is Helix?
Helix is Figure's own vision language action AI model, which turns what the robot sees and hears into movement. Figure 03's sensors and hands were designed around it. Helix 02 added full body autonomy in January 2026, and Helix 2.5 extended to unseen homes in September 2026.
How many Figure 03 robots exist?
Figure said on April 29, 2026 that it had delivered over 350 Figure 03 robots from BotQ and raised output from 1 per day to 1 per hour in under 120 days. Its October 2025 launch post described initial capacity of 12,000 units a year.
Is Figure 03 safe for homes?
Figure says it uses multi density foam at pinch points, soft textiles instead of hard shells, and battery protections at the management system, cell, interconnect and pack levels, with UN38.3 certification. It has not published a home privacy policy in its launch post.
How does Figure 03 charge?
Wirelessly, through 2 kW inductive charging, so it can dock itself without plugging in.
