Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Lindy costs $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits in October 2026, and every active user in your workspace is billed from that price. Credits pool across the team. A simple ask uses 2 to 250 credits and a big build up to 2,500, so at $0.01 per credit a single task costs from $0.02 to $25. Enterprise, with HIPAA BAA and SSO, is quote only.

All 14 credit tiers
The Team plan scales by monthly credits. Here is every tier on the pricing page with the effective cost per credit, which we calculated.
| Monthly credits | Price per month | Cost per credit | Cost per 1,000 credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5,000 | $49.99 | $0.0100 | $10.00 |
| 6,000 | $59.99 | $0.0100 | $10.00 |
| 7,000 | $69.99 | $0.0100 | $10.00 |
| 8,000 | $79.99 | $0.0100 | $10.00 |
| 15,000 | $99.99 | $0.0067 | $6.67 |
| 20,000 | $149.99 | $0.0075 | $7.50 |
| 35,000 | $199.99 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
| 45,000 | $299.99 | $0.0067 | $6.67 |
| 70,000 | $399.98 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
| 105,000 | $599.97 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
| 175,000 | $999.95 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
| 350,000 | $1,999.90 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
| 700,000 | $3,999.80 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
| 1,750,000 | $9,999.50 | $0.0057 | $5.71 |
Two tiers are traps. 20,000 credits at $149.99 costs more per credit than 15,000 at $99.99, and 45,000 at $299.99 costs more per credit than 35,000 at $199.99. If you need about 40,000 credits, buy 35,000 and top up 5,000 for $50: $249.99 instead of $299.99. From 35,000 credits up, the rate flattens at $5.71 per 1,000, so the biggest tiers buy no extra discount.
Top ups cost $10 per 1,000, the same as the entry tiers and 75% more than the $5.71 rate on large tiers. Use them for spikes, not as a plan.
Credits per task math
Lindy does not publish a fixed credit price per action. It publishes three ranges:
| Task type | Lindy's examples | Credits per task | Cost at $0.01 per credit | Cost at $0.0057 per credit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Everyday asks | Answers, summaries, lookups, meeting wrap ups, reply drafts | 2 to 250 | $0.02 to $2.50 | $0.01 to $1.43 |
| Deep work | Research reports, support queue triage, proposals, simple HTML pages | 250 to 1,000 | $2.50 to $10.00 | $1.43 to $5.71 |
| Big builds | Complex dashboards, presentations, internal tools, heavy workflows | 1,000 to 2,500 | $10.00 to $25.00 | $5.71 to $14.29 |
So what does 5,000 credits buy? Somewhere between 20 and 2,500 everyday asks, 5 to 20 deep work tasks, or 2 to 5 big builds. The 125x spread on everyday asks is the core problem with forecasting a Lindy bill: the same "summarize this thread" request can cost 2 credits on a short email and far more on a long thread with a heavier model and several tool calls.
Lindy's pricing page does not list credit costs per model, per integration call or per minute of meeting recording, so measure your own mix in the trial before you pick a tier.
Worked examples
Each example states its assumptions. Your real usage depends on models, thread length and how many tools each task touches.
1. Founder using Lindy as an inbox assistant. 15 everyday asks a workday, 22 workdays, is 330 tasks a month. At an average of 15 credits per task that is 4,950 credits, which fits the $49.99 tier. At an average of 100 credits it is 33,000 credits, which needs the 35,000 tier at $199.99. Same person, same habits, four times the bill.
2. Daily brief plus meeting notes. A daily morning brief at 100 credits is 3,000 a month. Twenty meetings wrapped up at the 250 credit top of the everyday range is another 5,000. Total 8,000 credits, the 8,000 tier at $79.99.
3. Three person sales team. Each active user is billed from $49.99, so the floor is $149.97 a month for 15,000 pooled credits. If each rep also runs four research reports a month at up to 1,000 credits each, that adds up to 12,000 credits. Plan for about 27,000 credits a month, then check in the admin view which tier your workspace can move to.
4. Ops lead building internal tools. Four big builds a month at 1,000 to 2,500 credits each is 4,000 to 10,000 credits, plus everyday use. Start on the 15,000 tier at $99.99, the best value under 35,000.
5. Running out mid month. You burn through 5,000 credits in week three. Lindy pauses credit actions rather than billing overage. A 10,000 credit top up costs $100 and does not expire; moving the next cycle to 15,000 credits costs $99.99 a month.
A full year on the entry tier is $599.88 per user. There is no published annual discount.
Hidden costs and gotchas
- Seats count everyone. Anyone who uses Lindy takes a seat, including someone who only @mentions it in Slack. Slack joiners get a 7 day trial first; direct signups are billed immediately.
- No mid cycle proration. Removing a seat or canceling keeps access through the paid cycle, with no partial refund.
- Credits reset. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Only top ups carry forward.
- Compliance costs extra. The signed HIPAA BAA, SSO, SCIM and audit logs are Enterprise only.
- Billing complaints. Lindy's Trustpilot page shows 1.7 from 40 reviews. Recurring complaints include credits draining fast after the trial, trouble finding how to cancel and charges after cancellation. Put a calendar reminder on day 6 of the trial and check the billing page before you add teammates.
How Lindy compares on price
| Platform | Entry paid price | What it includes | Billing unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lindy | $49.99 per user per month | 5,000 credits, shared pool | Credits, 2 to 2,500 per task |
| Zapier Agents Pro | $50 per month add on | 1,500 activities, up to 40 per run | Agent activities |
| Gumloop | $37 per month | 20,000 credits, unlimited seats | Usage at provider list price plus 8% |
| Make | $16 per month | 10,000 credits | Per module run |
| n8n Cloud | about $27 per month (€24) | 2,500 executions | Per workflow run |
| Relevance AI | Quote only | Custom | Publishes $0.09 average per task |
Lindy sells a ready made assistant; the others mostly sell a builder. That premium shows up most for teams: five users on Lindy start at $249.95 a month, while Gumloop's $37 plan covers unlimited seats. How to keep the bill down
- Measure in the trial. Run your real daily tasks for 7 days and read the credit log before picking a tier.
- Skip the trap tiers. Choose 15,000 over 20,000 and 35,000 over 45,000.
- Limit seats. Give Lindy to the people who use it daily; occasional users can ask a teammate.
- Keep tasks small. Short threads and lighter models cost fewer credits than one giant request.
- Approve before acting. Lindy holds actions with outside impact, such as sending email or posting, for approval, which also catches runaway loops.
Is Lindy worth the price
For a founder or executive who wants inbox, calendar, meeting and CRM chores handled without building flows, $49.99 to $199.99 a month can be worth it. For teams, per user billing and credit ranges that span 2 to 2,500 per task make Lindy one of the hardest bills in this category to predict. Frequently asked questions
How much does Lindy cost?
Lindy Team starts at $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits. Every active user in the workspace is billed from $49.99, and all credits go into one shared pool. Bigger credit tiers run up to $9,999.50 a month for 1,750,000 credits, and Enterprise is quote only.
Is Lindy free?
Lindy has a free trial, not a free plan. New users get $50 in credits for 7 days with no credit card. After that, every user needs a paid seat. Teammates who join through Slack get their own 7 day trial before their seat is billed; direct signups are billed right away.
How many credits does a Lindy task use?
Lindy publishes ranges, not a fixed price per action. Everyday asks such as answers, summaries, lookups and reply drafts use 2 to 250 credits. Deep work such as research reports and support queue triage uses 250 to 1,000. Big builds such as dashboards and internal tools use 1,000 to 2,500.
What happens when I run out of Lindy credits?
Lindy pauses actions that use credits until your next billing cycle, so there is no surprise bill. Admins can top up at $10 per 1,000 credits or move to a bigger monthly tier at any time.
Do Lindy credits roll over?
Monthly credits do not roll over; they reset at the start of each billing cycle. Top up credits stay in your account until you use them.
Does Lindy charge per user?
Yes. Anyone who uses Lindy takes a seat, including people who only mention Lindy in Slack. Each active user is billed from $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits, and the whole team draws from one shared pool.
Does Lindy offer annual billing?
The pricing page lists monthly prices only and does not mention an annual discount. Ask sales if you want an annual contract, especially on Enterprise.
Is Lindy HIPAA compliant?
Lindy lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA, but the signed HIPAA business associate agreement is an Enterprise feature. Healthcare teams that handle patient data need an Enterprise contract, not the Team plan.
