Relevance AI is the best pick for sales and go to market teams that want a library of specialist agents, such as a prospector, a meeting prepper and a post call actioner, chained into multi agent workforces. Pro starts at $29 a month for 2,500 Actions. The tradeoffs are two separate meters to watch and calling agents that only start on the $349 Team plan.

What it is

Relevance AI, run by Australian company OnSearch Pty Ltd, is a platform for building what it calls an AI workforce. You build three kinds of objects:

  • Tools, the actions an agent can take. Each is a step by step automation built in a no code editor with LLM prompts, API calls, Python or JavaScript code, browser automation and prebuilt integrations.
  • Agents, which are given instructions, tools and knowledge, then plan and complete tasks either on autopilot or with a human in the loop.
  • Workforces, teams of agents that hand work to each other, either by AI judgment or by a fixed next step, with if this then that routing in between.

The focus is go to market work. Its agent library includes Research and Enricher, Pre meeting Prepper, Post call Actioner, Meeting Scheduler, Outbound Prospector, Forecast Roll up, Deal Reviewer and Proposal Builder. Its homepage names Canva, Databricks, Confluent, Autodesk and Freshworks as customers, and reports 1.24 million tasks run a month at an average of $0.09 per task, down from $0.14.

Pricing explained

Relevance AI's public pricing page currently shows only an Enterprise plan with a "Talk to sales" button. Its help center, which also explains how to upgrade to Pro or Team from inside the app, lists all three plans:

Plan Billed monthly Billed annually Actions a month Vendor Credits a month Users and projects
Pro $29 $19 a month 2,500 $20 2 build users, 1 project
Team $349 $234 a month 7,000 $70 5 build users, 45 end users, 5 projects
Enterprise Quote only Quote only Custom Custom Unlimited

Annual billing saves about a third on both paid plans (34% on Pro, 33% on Team). The Free plan is retired for new and existing accounts.

Two meters

Relevance AI bills on two separate units, which is the most important thing to understand before you buy.

  • Actions. One Action is counted each time an agent runs a tool, whether that tool sends one email or runs a long chain of steps. Plan Actions reset at renewal. Extra Actions cost $80 per 1,000, bought in blocks of 1,000, and those top ups carry forward.
  • Vendor Credits. Prepaid capacity for model and tool costs, charged at wholesale with no markup. They roll over for as long as you stay subscribed. Extra Vendor Credits cost $20 per 10,000. If you bring your own model API keys, which every plan allows, the model costs go to your provider instead.

Worked examples

  • Pro, light use. 2,500 Actions for $29 is about $0.012 per Action billed monthly, or $0.008 billed annually. That covers, for example, 100 leads a workday researched with one enrichment tool run each over 22 workdays (2,200 Actions), with room to spare.
  • Pro plus top ups. At 5,000 Actions a month, Pro plus 3,000 extra Actions costs $29 plus $240, or $269. Team at $349 covers 7,000. Because top ups come in blocks of 1,000, Pro plus top ups is cheaper up to 5,500 Actions; from 5,501 to 6,500 it costs $349, the same as Team. Above 5,500 Actions, or when you need calling agents, more users or more projects, Team wins.
  • Top up rate. Extra Actions at $0.08 each are roughly seven times the Pro plan rate. If you regularly exceed your plan, upgrade or design tools that do more per run, since a multi step tool still counts as one Action.

Model costs sit on top of all of this in Vendor Credits, unless you bring your own keys. Compare against other platforms in the AI Price Index.

Key features

Agent library

Prebuilt agents cover the sales cycle: outbound prospecting, research and enrichment, meeting prep, meeting scheduling, post call actions, deal reviews, forecast roll ups and proposals. Agents can escalate to a rep or manager over email or chat when they cannot handle a case.

Workforces

Workforces connect agents in two ways: an AI connection, where the agent decides when to hand off, or a next step, where one agent always triggers the next. There is no hard limit on agents per workforce. Typical patterns are qualify, enrich and route for leads, or research, draft and review for content.

Tool builder

Tools follow an input, steps, output pattern. Steps can be LLM prompts, API calls, Python or JavaScript code, browser automation or one of the prebuilt integrations, and tools can be reused across agents or shared through Relevance AI's marketplace.

Knowledge

Knowledge bases accept CSV, PDF, Excel, JSON and audio files and sync from Google Drive, SharePoint, Notion and websites. You can include a whole small dataset in the prompt or let the agent search a large one with retrieval.

Calling and meeting agents

Voice calling agents and meeting agents are included on Team and Enterprise, not on Pro. Chat mode is on every plan.

Integrations, triggers and models

2,000+ app integrations and 1,000+ app triggers on every plan, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, LinkedIn and Notion. Models include Gemini, GPT, Claude, Kimi and GLM, and you can bring your own keys.

MCP and API

A free MCP server and Claude Code plugin let you build agents, tools and workforces from Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT or Windsurf, with run only mode for viewers. There is also an API and a JavaScript SDK.

Testing and analytics

A/B testing is on every plan, an analytics dashboard starts on Team, and agent evaluations are Enterprise only.

Where it falls short: Pro is capped at one project and two builders, the most useful sales features (calling, analytics, priority support) start at $349 a month, evaluations are locked to Enterprise, and there is no self hosting.

What users say

Relevance AI has very few public reviews. On Trustpilot it scores 3.1 from just 2 reviews, both from January to March 2026. One reviewer says the product "used to be awesome" and complains about removed tool building features; the other says support did not respond. Two reviews are too few to rate, so we do not show a user score for Relevance AI.

The positive evidence is vendor reported: Qualified says it built $7M in pipeline in six months with 35+ agents, Send Payments reports 40 hours saved a week, and Zembl reports a 30% lift in customer conversion. Treat those as case studies, not independent ratings.

Privacy and security

Relevance AI lists SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance on every plan and states that project information is confidential, even from Relevance AI. Enterprise adds:

  • SSO through Okta, Azure AD or Entra ID and Google Workspace, plus directory sync
  • RBAC at organization, project and asset level
  • Audit logs and compliance events streamed to your own S3 bucket
  • Data retention policies, integration governance and credit limits with usage alerts
  • Visual PII masking in conversation histories and task views
  • User level authentication, so agents act with each user's own credentials

We did not find a published statement on model training in the pages we opened; ask for it in writing and check which model providers your agents call. If you bring your own API keys, the provider's own data terms apply to those calls.

Who it is for

  • B2B sales and revenue operations teams that want prospecting, enrichment, meeting prep and follow up agents.
  • Mid market and enterprise go to market teams that want multi agent workforces with routing rules.
  • Builders who want no code tools with an escape hatch to Python, JavaScript and APIs.
  • Teams that want model costs passed through at wholesale, or billed to their own keys.

Who should skip it

  • A solo founder who wants a personal assistant. Lindy handles inbox, calendar and meeting notes with less setup; see Lindy vs Relevance AI.
  • Small teams that need calling agents on a budget. Calling starts at $349 a month on Team.
  • High volume, deterministic workflows. n8n bills per run and can be self hosted; Make starts at $16.
  • Anyone who wants a free plan to experiment. It is gone. Zapier and Make still have free plans.

Verdict

Relevance AI is the most sales focused agent builder we compare. Its prebuilt go to market agents, workforces with AI or fixed handoffs, 2,000+ integrations and wholesale model pricing make it a strong fit for revenue teams that want a set of agents, not a single assistant.

Budget carefully. Watch both meters, keep tools doing more per run so you stay inside your Actions, and know that calling agents, analytics and priority support start at $349 a month. Start on Pro billed monthly, measure your Actions for a month, then decide between Pro with top ups, Team or an Enterprise quote.

What are Vendor Credits?

Yes. Its agent library includes an outbound prospector, a research and enrichment agent, a pre meeting prepper, a post call actioner and a meeting scheduler, which together cover most BDR work. Calling and meeting agents need the Team plan or higher.

Is Relevance AI secure?

It lists SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance on every plan and says project information is confidential even from Relevance AI. Enterprise adds SSO through Okta, Entra ID or Google Workspace, RBAC, audit logs streamed to your S3 bucket, retention policies and PII masking.
