Worked examples
Weekly YouTube narration, 4 videos of 10 minutes. 40 minutes x about 1,000 credits = 40,000 credits. Starter (30,000) falls short; Creator (121,000) covers it with room for a professional clone.
Audiobook narrator, 8 hours a month. 480 minutes = about 480,000 credits. Pro (600,000) covers it.
Dubbing a 20 minute video into 3 languages. 60 dubbed minutes at 2,000 to 10,000 credits per minute = 120,000 to 600,000 credits. That ranges from all of Creator to all of Pro, so test one video first.
App generating 5 million characters a month via API. On Flash: 5,000 x $0.04 = $200. On v3: 5,000 x $0.08 = $400.
Podcast intro music. 10 minutes of Eleven Music = about 9,000 credits, an easy fit on Starter.
Hidden costs and limits
- Shared pool. Dubbing and music can drain a plan that looks huge for narration.
- Promo pricing. The $1 and $11 first months renew at $6 and $22.
- Free is non commercial. Upgrade before you publish monetized work.
- Professional clones are limited to 1 until Scale, and only of your own voice.
- HIPAA needs Enterprise.
