Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
The Narwal Flow 2 is the best mop first robot in this guide: its FlowWash track mop is cleaned with 140°F water while it works, the dock washes at 212°F and holds 120 days of dust, and dual 1080p cameras handle obstacles. Narwal does not publish an object count or a simple runtime, and the Flow 2 was out of stock on Narwal's US store at our check.

The Flow 2 is the mop first pick: its flat track mop is washed with heated water while it cleans, and its dock holds 120 days of dust. Narwal publishes cleaning times rather than a simple runtime, and the robot was out of stock on Narwal's US store when we checked.

What it is
The Flow 2 is Narwal's flagship robot vacuum and mop, listed on Narwal's US store from April 2026 above the original Flow, the Freo 20 series and the Freo Z10 Turbo. It replaces the Freo Z Ultra, which no longer has a product page on Narwal's US store.
Narwal's big idea is the mop. Instead of two spinning pads or a cylinder roller, the Flow 2 uses a flattened rolling track mop. Heated water flows over it and it is cleaned in real time. Narwal pitches it at grease, dried coffee and muddy paw prints.
Specs from Narwal's product page:
- 31,000 Pa suction
- FlowWash mopping with 140°F heated water and real time self cleaning
- CarpetFocus: a roller brush cover lowers to boost suction, and the mop lifts 10 mm on carpet
- EdgeReach mop extension for edges
- TwinAI Dodge obstacle avoidance with dual 1080p cameras
- 7,000 mAh battery with NavoPower AI battery care
- Dock: 212°F mop washing, 104°F drying, active water tank self cleaning, auto detergent, 120 days of dust in a 2.5 L bag
- Under 56.5 dB operation
- Pet Care Mode 2.0, Baby Care Mode, real time pet finding, multi level 3D maps
- Optional auto refill and drainage system with a slimmer dock
Pricing explained
Narwal sells the Flow 2 on Amazon and its US store. We do not list robot prices; check the current price before you buy. Narwal offers Flow 2 bundles with an Advanced Kit or a plumbed dock, and a one year extended warranty plan administered by Servify.
Running costs:
- Dust bags. 120 days each, so three a year.
- Track mop and brushes. Narwal publishes a consumable countdown in the app based on its service life testing.
- Detergent. Dosed automatically.
- Plumbed dock. The refill and drain version needs DIY installation: a 3.2 to 3.8 cm hole within 15 cm of the floor and an outlet within 1.5 m.
Key features
FlowWash track mop
A flat track keeps more mop surface in contact than two round pads, and real time washing keeps the surface clean across the whole run. Heated 140°F water helps with grease. This is the strongest hard floor mopping concept in this guide on paper, alongside the roller mops from eufy, Roborock, Ecovacs and iRobot.
CarpetFocus
When carpet is detected, a cover lowers over the roller brush to concentrate suction, and the mop lifts 10 mm. That 10 mm is less than Roborock's 15 mm roller lift on the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, so very deep pile rugs may still be a concern.
Dual camera obstacle avoidance
Two 1080p cameras build a 1.5 million point cloud, per Narwal. Narwal says it recognizes unlimited household objects rather than giving a count, which makes it hard to compare with the 280 to 300+ object types other brands list.
Dock
The 212°F wash ties the hottest docks here. The 120 day bag is the longest. Active tank self cleaning cuts odor.
Battery and cleaning time
7,000 mAh is the largest battery in this guide. Narwal lists about 115 minutes to vacuum 150 square meters and about 160 minutes to vacuum and mop at once.
Noise
Under 56.5 dB is the quietest published figure here.

Narwal wins on bag life, battery size and noise. Dreame wins on clearance and climbing. eufy wins on suction and published runtime.
Setup and upkeep
The standard dock measures 360 by 450 by 530 mm with its water tank. The plumbed version is 410 by 433 by 281 mm but needs a water line and drain within reach. Run the first map, then set pet zones and room order. Ongoing: refill and empty tanks on the standard dock, follow the app's consumable countdown, and swap the 2.5 L bag every 120 days or so.
What users say
The Flow 2 Amazon listing (white) shows 4.1 out of 5 from 322 ratings in October 2026. That is below the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete's 4.3 and the Roborock Saros 20's 4.2. Amazon ratings are listing level.
Privacy and security
Two 1080p cameras and real time pet finding mean you should check camera settings. Narwal's US product page does not list privacy certifications. Review Narwal's privacy policy and keep remote viewing off unless you use it.
Who it is for
- Hard floor homes that mop every day
- Pet owners with muddy paws and kitchens with grease
- Light sleepers and home offices, given the low noise rating
- Homes with a laundry or utility room where a plumbed dock fits
Who should skip it
- Thick carpet homes; the 10 mm mop lift and lack of an object count are weaker than rivals
- Buyers who need it today if stock is still out at Narwal's store
- Very low furniture: check the robot dimensions in Narwal's FAQ against your clearance; the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete at 3.13 inches is the slim pick
Alternatives
- eufy Omni E35: roller mop with 180 minutes runtime
- Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow: Roborock's roller mop with a 15 mm lift
- Ecovacs Deebot X12S OmniCyclone: roller mop with a bagless station
- Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete: thinner, 280 object types, 100 day bag
Verdict
The Narwal Flow 2 is the robot for people who care most about mopping: a heated track mop that cleans itself, a 212°F dock, a 120 day bag and the quietest rating here. It is less convincing on carpet and on published obstacle data. Buy it for hard floors.

Is the Narwal Freo Z Ultra discontinued?
Narwal's US store no longer serves a Freo Z Ultra product page; the old link redirects to the robot vacuum collection. The current lineup is the Flow 2 (flagship), Flow, Freo 20, Freo 20 Edge, Freo Z10 Turbo, Freo X10 Pro and Freo S.
What is a track mop?
Narwal's FlowWash system uses a flattened rolling track mop instead of spinning pads. Heated water flows onto the track and it is cleaned continuously while the robot mops, so it does not have to return to the dock to rinse.
How long does the Narwal Flow 2 take to clean?
Narwal's FAQ lists about 115 minutes to vacuum 150 square meters, about 140 minutes to mop it, about 160 minutes to vacuum and mop at the same time, and about 280 minutes for vacuum first then mop. These are lab figures.
Does the Narwal Flow 2 need a water hookup?
No. The standard dock has water tanks. Narwal sells a version with an auto refill and drainage system for a slimmer dock, which needs a drilled hole within 15 cm of the floor and access to water supply and drainage.
Is the Narwal Flow 2 quiet?
Narwal lists operation under 56.5 dB, the lowest published noise figure in this guide.

Yes. Narwal lists Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant voice control in addition to the Narwal app.
