Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Artisan does not list prices for Ava. Its pricing page sizes plans by volume, about 2,500 leads contacted a month on Team and 6,000 on Scale, and every quote is scoped to lead volume, mailboxes and dialer seats. Artisan's own comparison page says plans start from $250 a month on monthly terms; get that in writing.

| Scale | About 6,000 leads contacted a month | Everything in Team, dedicated CSM, CRM setup included, priority support | Quote only |

What "leads contacted" means
A lead contacted is a person Ava finds, enriches and starts a sequence with. At 2,500 a month on Team, that is about 115 new people every working day. Each one may receive several emails and social touches, so the email volume is a multiple of the lead number.
Every verifiable price signal
| Data point | Figure | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price claim | "Plans from $250/mo, monthly, cancel anytime" | Artisan vs 11x page |
| Free trial claim | Free trial, no credit card, live in about 10 minutes | Artisan vs 11x page |
| Pricing basis | Lead volume, mailboxes, dialer seats | Artisan pricing FAQ |
| Reviewer bill | A four figure monthly sum on a managed plan | Trustpilot reviewer (UK) |
| Contract | Multi month commitments reported once account management starts | Trustpilot reviewers |
We found no independent marketplace data on Artisan contract values. Treat the $250 claim as the floor and expect higher quotes for Team and Scale volumes.
Cost per lead scenarios
Because Artisan publishes no plan prices, these scenarios show what a quote implies per lead. Use them to judge any number you are given.
| Monthly quote | Leads a month | Cost per lead contacted |
|---|---|---|
| $250 | 250 (assumed starter volume) | $1.00 |
| $1,500 | 2,500 (Team) | $0.60 |
| $2,500 | 2,500 (Team) | $1.00 |
| $4,000 | 6,000 (Scale) | $0.67 |
For comparison, AiSDR publishes $1.50 per person prospected and Vendr's 11x Advanced tier works out to about $1.07 per new prospect. If your Artisan quote lands above $1.50 per lead contacted, push back.
Hidden costs
- Dialer seats. Ava cannot make calls; reps dial from the add on dialer, priced per seat.
- Credits. The most common Trustpilot complaint is credits running out faster than the promised volume. Ask what one lead costs in credits and whether failed enrichments are charged.
- Mailboxes and domains. Infrastructure is "sized to your motion." Ask whether domains are bought in your name.
- Your reps' time. Approval mode is how most teams start; budget a few hours a week to review messages in month one.
- Monthly versus multi month. If you are offered a discount for a longer term, compare it with the cost of being locked in if reply rates disappoint.
Monthly versus annual
Artisan does not publish an annual discount. The comparison page advertises monthly plans. If a rep offers an annual or quarterly term, ask for the monthly price for the same volume, then decide whether the discount is worth giving up the exit.
How it compares

Worked examples
Founder, no SDR, 1,000 leads a month. Ask for the $250 plan's volume. If it covers less than 1,000 leads, compare with Reply.io's Jason at $800 a month for 1,000 active contacts, which publishes its limits.
Sales team of 5, Team plan volume. At 2,500 leads a month, a quote of $1,500 to $2,500 is $0.60 to $1.00 per lead. Add dialer seats for reps who will call Ava's queued prospects.
Scaling team, 6,000 leads a month. Scale adds a dedicated CSM and CRM setup. Ask for the per lead price to fall as volume rises; if it does not, Instantly plus Clay will cost less, though you will run the program yourself.
Verdict on price
Artisan's pricing is the least transparent part of a product that is otherwise buyer friendly. The plan sizes are useful, and the $250 a month claim on its own comparison page is a lever: ask for it. Judge any quote by cost per lead contacted and by the credit rules behind it. Read our Artisan review for features and results, and Artisan alternatives for tools with published prices.
