The price list
My AI Front Desk, now branded Frontdesk, sells one public plan. Prices as listed on its pricing page in October 2026.
| Business-in-a-Box | Allowance |
|---|---|
| Price, monthly billing | $99 per month |
| Price, annual billing | $79 per month ($948 upfront, 20% off) |
| Voice minutes (calls and website voice) | 200 a month |
| Outbound calls | 20 a day, hard cap |
| Chatbot conversations | 100 a month |
| SMS | 400 messages a month |
| Email drafts | 500 a month |
| Website form submissions | 300 a month |
| Overage credits | 1,000 a month, expire monthly |
| Notification recipients | 3 |
| Languages | 20+ |
| Trial | 7 days, no credit card |
Also included: Zapier, a verified outbound number that shows your business name, the AI CRM, two way SMS and workflow automations. Frontdesk says the plan suits 1 to 10 interactions a day.
Partner and Enterprise are for 25+ interactions a day, with volume pricing, voice from 7 credits a minute (about $0.07 at reload pricing), API access, custom integrations and an account manager.
How credits work
Credits cover anything beyond the plan's allowances:
| Overage item | Credits | At reload price |
|---|---|---|
| Voice minute | 25 | $0.25 |
| Chatbot conversation | 5 | $0.05 |
| SMS | 4 | $0.04 |
| Form lead | 4 | $0.04 |
The 1,000 included credits buy about 40 voice minutes, 200 chats or 250 texts, and expire at month end. When they run out, auto reload adds 1,000 credits for $10. Reloaded credits never expire, so a partial reload is not wasted.
What 200 minutes means: at 3 minutes a call, about 67 calls, or about 80 with the credit pool. That is two to three calls a day, which matches Frontdesk's own 1 to 10 interactions a day guidance only at the low end.
Monthly bill at 200, 500 and 1,000 minutes
Voice only, monthly billing, reloads in 1,000 credit steps:
| Minutes a month | Covered by plan and pool | Extra minutes | Reloads at $10 | Monthly bill | Annual billing | Per minute |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 | 200 | 0 | 0 | $99 | $79 | $0.50 |
| 500 | 240 | 260 | 7 | about $169 | about $149 | $0.34 |
| 1,000 | 240 | 760 | 19 | about $289 | about $269 | $0.29 |
At 500 minutes, 7 reloads leave 500 unused credits that carry into the next month, so the true cost of that month is about $164. Heavy chat or SMS use draws on the same credits. Model your own mix in the calculator.
Hidden costs to plan for
- Refund terms. The terms of service say refunds are generally not provided, with exceptions at the company's discretion. Trustpilot reviewers report refused refunds, one on a $1,428 upfront payment.
- Trial usage. The terms say you are still responsible for usage fees beyond the trial allowance during the free trial.
- Auto renewal. Plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled; access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Outbound cap. 20 outbound calls a day is a hard limit; outbound campaigns beyond that need Enterprise.
- Expiring pool. The 1,000 included credits do not roll over.
Annual vs monthly
Annual billing cuts the plan to $79 a month, saving $240 a year. Given the refund terms, pay monthly for the first two or three months, then switch once you know the product fits.
How My AI Front Desk compares
Bills at the same minute volume, cheapest published plan, October 2026.
| Product | 200 minutes | 500 minutes | 1,000 minutes | Channels in the price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| My AI Front Desk | $99 | about $169 | about $289 | Voice, chat, SMS, email, forms, CRM |
| Rosie | $49 | $149 | $149 | Voice, web chat widget |
| Dialzara | $99 | $199 | $349 | Voice, SMS, web chat |
| RingCentral AI Receptionist | $99 | $249 | $499 | Voice |
| Goodcall | $129 up to 500 unique callers | $129 up to 500 unique callers | $129 up to 500 unique callers | Voice (minutes not billed) |
Rosie is cheaper on voice at every volume. My AI Front Desk beats Dialzara and RingCentral at 500 and 1,000 minutes, and nothing else at $99 includes email drafts, forms and a CRM. If you need those channels, it is the best value; if you only need calls answered, it is not. See every tracked rate on the AI Price Index.
How to keep the bill down
- Start on monthly billing and switch to annual only after it proves itself.
- Set auto reload so a busy week does not cut off calls, and let unused reload credits carry over.
- Route chat and SMS to the bot only where they save staff time; they draw on the same credits as voice.
- Keep outbound calls under 20 a day or batch them.
- Cancel in writing and keep the confirmation if you leave.
Is My AI Front Desk worth the price?
For a property manager or therapy practice that will use the integrations and the extra channels, $99 is strong value. For voice only buyers, Rosie costs less at every volume. The refund terms and a 3.4 Trustpilot score from 19 reviews are the main reasons to go in carefully. Read the My AI Front Desk review or see My AI Front Desk alternatives.

Frequently asked questions
How much does My AI Front Desk cost?
As listed in October 2026, Business-in-a-Box costs $99 a month on monthly billing or $79 a month on annual billing, paid upfront. Partner and Enterprise plans for 25+ interactions a day are quoted.
How do My AI Front Desk credits work?
Each month you get 1,000 overage credits on top of the plan's allowances. A voice minute costs 25 credits, a chatbot conversation 5, an SMS 4 and a form lead 4. Pool credits expire monthly. Auto reload adds 1,000 credits for $10, and reload credits never expire.
How much do extra minutes cost?
About $0.25 each. The included pool covers about 40 extra minutes; after that, each 1,000 credit reload at $10 buys 40 minutes.
Is there a free plan?
No. The pricing page says Frontdesk does not offer a permanently free plan. There is a 7 day trial with no credit card.
Can I get a refund?
Its terms of service say refunds are generally not provided, with exceptions at the company's discretion if requested in writing. Several Trustpilot reviewers report refused refunds, so choose monthly billing until you are sure.
Is the annual plan worth it?
It saves $240 a year, 20%. Because refunds are generally not offered, take it only after a few months on monthly billing.
