Dialzara is the best low cost AI receptionist for small offices that take a few calls a day: $29 buys 60 minutes, booking, lead qualification and English and Spanish, and SMS and website chat come free with any voice plan. Past the entry tier it gets pricier per minute than Rosie, and native CRM integrations are not named.

What it is

Dialzara is an AI phone answering service for small businesses. It answers every call 24/7, handles unlimited simultaneous calls, answers questions about your business, qualifies leads, books appointments into your calendar, screens spam, routes callers to several transfer numbers and emails you a summary and transcript after each call. Around the inbound agent it sells an AI SMS agent, a website chatbot and outbound voice agents.

It is based in Eagle, Idaho, and says thousands of businesses use it. Its industry list runs from healthcare offices (spine care, sleep diagnostics, home care) to insurance, tax and accounting, construction, roofing, automotive, pet care and financial services, with starter templates for 88+ industries.

Pricing explained

Dialzara bills by bundles of minutes with a stepped overage rate. Prices as listed on its pricing page in October 2026.

Plan Monthly Annual Minutes Cost per included minute Overage Extras
Business Lite $29 $348 60 about $0.48 $0.48 Full feature set
Business Pro $99 $1,188 220 about $0.45 $0.45 Priority support
Business Plus $199 $2,388 500 about $0.40 $0.40 Higher volume
Business Elite $349 $4,188 1,000 about $0.35 $0.35 Dedicated onboarding, priority SLAs

Every plan includes 24/7 answering, booking, lead qualification, call routing, voicemail transcription, calendar and CRM connection, English and Spanish and a custom AI voice. There are no setup fees or contracts, and each plan has a 7 day trial.

Add ons:

  • AI SMS agent: $19 a month plus $0.05 per message on its own, free with any voice plan.
  • Website chatbot: $39 a month on its own, or free for 100 sessions a month with a voice plan, then $0.15 per session.
  • Outbound voice: $750 to $1,500 a month.

The pattern is simple: overage on each plan equals the plan's own per minute rate, so going over never punishes you, but it never rewards you either. Annual billing is exactly 12 times monthly, so there is no reason to prepay.

Worked bills:

  • 100 minutes: Lite plus 40 at $0.48 is about $48. Pro at $99 only makes sense above about 205 minutes.
  • 200 minutes: Pro, $99.
  • 500 minutes: Plus, $199. Pro plus 280 extra would be $225.
  • 1,000 minutes: Elite, $349.

For comparison, Rosie covers 1,000 minutes for $149, and My AI Front Desk is about $289. Dialzara wins at the low end and loses above about 250 minutes. See the AI Price Index and model your volume in the calculator.

Key features

Answering and booking

The voice agent answers 24/7 with no cap on simultaneous calls, books into Google Calendar or Outlook, and asks your qualifying questions. You get an email summary and transcript after every call.

Call routing

You set transfer numbers and the conditions for each, and Dialzara supports several extensions, so sales calls, service calls and emergencies can each reach a different person.

English and Spanish

English and Spanish are on every plan. Its features page says 10+ languages are supported, but the pricing page lists only the two, so confirm any third language before relying on it.

SMS agent and website chat

A two way SMS agent and a website chatbot are free with any voice plan (chat up to 100 sessions a month). That is a better bundle than most voice first rivals at $29; Rosie charges $50 a month for website texting.

Voices and templates

50+ voice options and starter templates for 88+ industries shorten setup. Dialzara says basic setup takes about 15 minutes.

Integrations

Named connections are Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Zapier, Make, webhooks, Slack and Microsoft Teams, plus WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Squarespace for the chat widget. Dialzara says popular CRMs work out of the box but does not name them, so ask about yours.

Compliance tooling

It lists TCPA, DNC and 10DLC tools for texting and outbound, which matters if you plan to run SMS campaigns.

What users say

As of October 2026, Dialzara holds 4.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 20 reviews. G2 and Capterra blocked access to their listings, so we could not check those.

Recurring praise:

  • Support. A support team member and the founder are named repeatedly for fixing login problems and helping with setup.
  • Voice quality. Reviewers call the voice natural and say it handles real estate and service conversations with sensible qualifying questions.
  • Cost against answering services. One reviewer says it saves more than $1,000 a month against a traditional service; another credits it with $16,000 in new sales in the first months. These are individual reports.

The one recurring complaint is the mirror image of the praise: a 1 star review from October 2026 says support is hard to reach. Twenty reviews is a small base, so treat the score as a good sign, not proof.

Privacy and security

Dialzara says recordings, transcripts and conversation data are stored encrypted in US data centers with access controls, that you own your data, and that you can export or delete recordings, transcripts and leads from the dashboard or API. Its privacy summary says it never sells personal information. It does not mention HIPAA, offering regulated use configurations on request instead, and the pages we opened do not say whether call data trains its AI. Healthcare offices should get a BAA and a written answer on training before routing patient calls.

Who it is for

  • Solo operators and small offices with a few calls a day
  • Real estate agents and insurance offices that want lead qualification cheaply
  • Bilingual English and Spanish customer bases
  • Owners who want SMS and website chat without a second subscription
  • Anyone who wants to try an AI receptionist for $29 with no contract

Who should skip it

  • Offices above about 250 minutes a month. Rosie's Scale plan covers 1,000 minutes for $149.
  • Businesses with long calls or many repeat callers. Goodcall and Upfirst do not charge by the minute.
  • Teams that need a named native CRM link such as Clio, HubSpot or Salesforce; see Smith.ai.
  • Healthcare practices that need HIPAA terms up front.

Alternatives

  • Rosie: $49 for 250 minutes, $149 for 1,000, English and Spanish.
  • My AI Front Desk: $99 for 200 minutes with chat, SMS, email and a CRM.
  • Goodcall: $129 for 500 unique callers with unlimited minutes.
  • Upfirst: $24.95 for 30 calls of any length, 35+ languages.
  • Smith.ai: free for 25 calls, live human backup.

Verdict

Dialzara is the easiest low risk start in AI reception: $29 a month, no contract, a 7 day trial, English and Spanish, and free SMS and chat. Its Trustpilot record, small as it is, is better than most rivals in this price band, mainly on support. The math turns against it as volume grows, with no annual discount and per minute rates that leave it well behind Rosie at 500 minutes and up. Start here if you take a handful of calls a day; move on if you outgrow Pro. Full rankings: best AI receptionists.
