What each plan includes
Free covers chat on web, desktop and mobile, web search, file creation and code execution, memory, connectors, Artifacts, voice mode, skills, and Claude Design, Slides and Docs. You get up to 5 projects. Claude Code, Research and Opus are not included.
Pro adds Claude Code, Claude Science, Research, unlimited Projects, Claude Dashboards (beta), the ability to hand off and schedule tasks, Claude in Chrome, and Claude for Microsoft 365 and Outlook. Opus joins Sonnet and Haiku. Pro is the only Claude plan with both monthly and annual billing.
Max adds higher output limits, early access to advanced features, priority access at busy times, and monthly API credits: $100 on Max 5x and $200 on Max 20x, for building on the Claude Platform. Max is billed monthly only.
Team adds SSO and domain capture, central billing, enterprise search, admin controls for connectors, enterprise desktop deployment, @Claude, Claude Motion (beta) and up to $500 per month in pooled API credits. Business content is not used for training by default.
Enterprise adds SCIM, role based access, audit logs, the Compliance API, custom data retention, network level access control, a HIPAA ready offering and organization wide skills deployment.
Pricing explained
Claude's paid plans all draw from one usage pool across web, desktop, mobile and Claude Code. That makes the $20 Pro plan unusually good value for developers: you are not buying a separate coding subscription.
Limits reset on a rolling 5 hour window, and paid plans have weekly caps on top. Anthropic does not publish message counts because usage depends on conversation length, model and features. When you hit a limit, you can wait, upgrade, or turn on usage credits billed at standard API rates.
Enterprise is the one plan with a usage meter built in. The $20 seat fee gets people in the door, and the bill grows with the models and tasks they run. That suits companies with uneven usage, but budget owners should watch usage closely in the first months.

The annual Pro plan saves $40 a year against monthly billing. Anthropic lists it as $17 per month; $200 over 12 months works out to $16.67.
