Gemini Enterprise Review 2026: Pricing, Features and Verdict
Google's agent platform for employees judged on its published editions, quotas, pay as you go rates, privacy terms and fit, as of October 2026.
By , research by the BestBots team · Updated Oct 19, 2026
Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Gemini Enterprise is the best fit in October 2026 for Google Workspace companies that want one permission aware assistant, Deep Research and no code agents across 100+ business apps for every employee. The weak spot is pricing: Google's current pages publish no seat price, so budget conversations start with sales, and daily quotas cap heavy users on Standard.

Gemini Enterprise is the strongest pick for Google Workspace companies that want one permission aware assistant, Deep Research and no code agents across Microsoft 365, Salesforce and 100+ other sources. The tradeoff is opaque pricing: Google's current pages publish no seat prices, and the pay as you go edition meters storage and model tokens separately.

What it is
Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud's agent platform for employees. It launched on October 9, 2025, replacing Google Agentspace, and bundles four things behind one chat box: the Gemini assistant, enterprise search over your company's data, prebuilt Google agents such as Deep Research and Data Insights, and tools to build and govern your own agents.
The naming keeps moving. Google's product page now calls the product Gemini for business and describes it as "one universal agent," while the documentation, editions and console still say Gemini Enterprise. Vertex AI has also been folded into what Google calls Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, the developer side. If you see all three names in a proposal, they are the same family.
The core idea: Gemini indexes selected sources while data stays where it lives, and every answer follows each user's existing permissions. Google lists over 100 integrations, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), Slack, Confluence, Notion, Jira, Linear, Asana, GitHub, GitLab, Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceNow, Docusign and BigQuery.
Pricing explained
Gemini Enterprise is sold in five editions. Google's comparison page lists seats, storage and features for each, but no prices.
| Edition | Seats | Storage and indexing per user | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business | 1 to 500 users | 25 GiB pooled | Not published; reported at $21 per seat per month at launch |
| Standard | 1 or more | 30 GiB pooled | Not published; reported at $30 per seat per month at launch |
| Plus | 1 or more | 75 GiB pooled | Not published; 30 day free trial |
| Pay as you go | 1 minimum | Billed at $5 per GiB per month | Usage based |
| Frontline | 150+ Standard or Plus users | 2 GiB pooled | Not published |
The launch figures come from Google's October 2025 announcement as summarized by Sentra; Google's current documentation does not repeat them. Treat them as a starting point for negotiation, not a quote.
Quotas that shape the bill
Seat editions come with daily quotas pooled across all users of the same edition in a project and location:
| Feature | Standard | Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Assistant queries | 160 per user per day | 200 per user per day |
| New no code agents | 1 per day | 10 per day |
| Deep Research | 3 per day | 10 per day |
| Image generation | 5 per day | 10 per day |
| Video generation | 2 per day | 3 per day |
| AI developer tool credit (Antigravity, Android Studio) | $10 per user per month | $15 per user per month |
Pooling matters. With 100 Standard seats your team shares 16,000 queries a day, so one power user can run 500 while others run few. When a pool runs out, you can turn on overages billed at pay as you go rates. Quotas reset at midnight Pacific; developer tool credits run on a rolling seven day pool.
Pay as you go edition
The pay as you go edition has no feature quotas. Storage and indexing cost $5 per GiB per month, and assistant, agent, Deep Research and media usage bill at Agent Platform model prices. Claude models are priced separately: Sonnet 5.5 at $2.00 input and $10.00 output per 1M tokens, Opus 5.5 at $4.00 and $20.00, with US multi region rates 10% higher. It requires an invoiced Cloud Billing account.
Worked examples
- 50 person team on Standard at the reported launch price: 50 x $30 = $1,500 a month, $18,000 a year, with 1,500 GiB of pooled storage and 8,000 queries a day.
- Storage overage on pay as you go: indexing 500 GiB of documents costs 500 x $5 = $2,500 a month before any model usage, so heavy document estates favor seat editions.
- Small Business edition rollout: 20 seats at the reported $21 is $420 a month.
For context, Microsoft 365 Copilot lists $30 per user per month paid yearly, and Copilot Studio credits start at $0.01 each. See the AI Price Index.
Hidden costs
- Console purchases cap at 25 or 1,000 seats depending on billing account type; larger rollouts go through sales.
- Overages on Standard and Plus bill at pay as you go rates once enabled.
- Variable Google Cloud support fees apply on top of pay as you go charges.
- Building agents with full code on Agent Platform bills separately from seats.
Key features
One assistant across your apps
The assistant answers questions, drafts content, analyzes data and runs tasks from one prompt box, grounded in your company sources and Google Search. Google says lengthy jobs run on their own secure machine in Google Cloud, so work continues after you log off, though it lists background tasks as early access.
Permission aware enterprise search
Search blends results from all connected sources and respects each user's permissions, so an intern does not see the board deck. Every edition includes it.
Prebuilt Google agents
Deep Research builds multi source reports, available in every edition with daily caps. Data Insights analyzes structured data in Business, Standard and Plus. Gemini Notebook Enterprise, Google's NotebookLM for business, lets Standard and Plus users create and publish notebooks.
No code agent builder
Users describe a workflow and the builder turns it into an agent that can act in connected apps. It is in preview, and creation is capped per day by edition. Custom skills, reusable instructions for repeat work, can be created and shared.
Full code agents and marketplace
Developers can register agents built with Google's Agent Development Kit, the A2A protocol or Dialogflow, and Business, Standard and Plus users can access an Agent Marketplace of partner agents. Each registration uses creation quota.
Memory
Google lists session memory, semantic memory for business facts, procedural memory for workflows and episodic memory of past actions across devices.
Governance
Admins get basic agent governance, audit trails, and per project budget caps where an agent pauses rather than overspending. Costs track to each team.
What users say
We could not open a G2, Capterra, TrustRadius or Gartner Peer Insights listing for Gemini Enterprise with a verified review count, so no rating is shown. Public admin discussion of Google's business AI is consistent:
- Praise: strong value for companies already on Workspace, good search across Drive and third party sources, and Deep Research quality.
- Complaints: slow adoption outside Google power users, confusing and changing product names, and difficulty getting clear seat pricing without a sales call.
Privacy and security
- Training: Google states customer data, including prompts, outputs and model tuning, is never used to train Google models or models for other customers.
- Ownership: you own your data, Google does not sell it, and it is not used for advertising.
- Data location: subscriptions can be pinned to US or EU multi regions, or global for availability.
- Access: answers and actions run under each user's existing permissions, with a complete audit trail.
- Compliance: Google's edition table lists enterprise grade security and compliance for four of the five editions; confirm your edition includes it before you sign.
Who it is for
- Google Workspace companies that want an assistant and agents for every employee without building anything first.
- Mixed estates where documents live in both Microsoft 365 and Google, plus Salesforce, Jira or ServiceNow.
- Research heavy teams such as strategy, finance and legal, where Deep Research and notebooks save hours.
- Small companies up to 500 users on the Business edition.
Who should skip it
- Microsoft 365 first organizations. Copilot Studio ties agents into Teams, Entra and Purview more tightly. See Copilot Studio vs Gemini Enterprise.
- Teams that need deterministic workflow automation. Zapier, Make or n8n run scheduled multi step automations with clear per task prices.
- Customer facing agents. Gemini Enterprise is for employees. Look at Agentforce or a chatbot platform.
- Buyers who need a published price before talking to sales.
Alternatives
- Microsoft Copilot Studio: low code agents for Microsoft 365, from $0.01 per credit.
- Agentforce: CRM agents for Salesforce customers, $0.10 per action.
- ServiceNow AI Agents: IT and HR agents on the ServiceNow platform.
- watsonx Orchestrate: IBM's agent platform with on premises deployment, from $530 a month.
- Lindy: a self serve AI assistant for small teams, from $49.99 a month.

Verdict
Gemini Enterprise is the most complete ready to use employee agent platform for Google Workspace companies: permission aware search across 100+ sources, Deep Research and notebooks for everyone, a no code builder, and a clean statement that your data is never used for training. Its weaknesses are commercial and practical: no public seat price, daily quotas that cap heavy users on Standard, a builder still in preview and names that change every few months. Start the 30 day Plus trial with real data and measure query usage per user before you pick an edition.

What is Gemini Enterprise?
Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud's platform that gives employees one Gemini assistant, enterprise search and AI agents across company data. It launched in October 2025 as the successor to Google Agentspace, and Google's product page now markets it as Gemini for business. It connects to 100+ sources including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
How much does Gemini Enterprise cost?
Google's current pages do not list seat prices; you buy through sales or the Google Cloud console. Launch pricing in October 2025 was reported at $21 per seat per month for Business and $30 for Standard and Plus. The pay as you go edition bills $5 per GiB per month for storage and indexing plus model usage at Agent Platform rates.
Is there a free trial of Gemini Enterprise?
Yes. Google offers the Plus edition at no cost for 30 days without sales assistance. Trial seats count toward pooled quotas the same way paid seats do.
Is Gemini Enterprise the same as Gemini in Google Workspace?
No. Gemini in Workspace is the assistant inside Gmail, Docs and Sheets. Gemini Enterprise is a separate Google Cloud subscription that adds permission aware search across third party apps, Deep Research, a no code agent builder, an agent marketplace and governance. It works alongside either Workspace or Microsoft 365.
Does Google train on Gemini Enterprise data?
No. Google states that prompts, outputs and model tuning data are never used to train Google models or models for other customers, that customer data is not sold, and that it is not used for advertising.
Can I build my own agents in Gemini Enterprise?
Yes. Business, Standard and Plus users can build and publish no code agents (in preview) and create custom skills. Standard allows 1 new agent per day pooled per user and Plus 10. Developers can also register full code agents built with ADK or the A2A protocol.
Gemini Enterprise vs Microsoft Copilot Studio: which is better?
Gemini Enterprise is better as a ready made assistant and agent hub for employees, especially in Google Workspace companies. Copilot Studio is better for building custom agents and workflows for Microsoft 365, Teams and Dynamics, with 1,500+ connectors. See our full comparison.
Which models does Gemini Enterprise use?
Gemini models, with automatic routing to pick a model by speed, cost and accuracy. On the pay as you go edition, Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Sonnet 5.5 are listed with their own token prices. Google says broader third party model choice is in early access.
