What the plans mean in practice
Free is a real plan. There is no monthly meeting cap, no storage cap and no per meeting time limit on the pricing page. What you give up is action items, the full Ask Fathom assistant and team features. That is why Fathom ranks first in our free AI note taker guide.
Premium is for one person. It adds the AI that turns notes into work: action items, follow up emails and the chat assistant. It also allows CRM syncs for up to 3 users per domain, which covers a founder and a couple of reps.
Team undercuts Premium. Two people on Team pay $30 a month on annual billing and get shared search and playlists. Two Premium seats would be $32 and keep everything separate.
Business is the CRM and coaching tier. Automatic CRM field sync, Deal View summaries and AI scorecards. This is what you pay for if you are replacing a conversation intelligence tool.
Enterprise has moved to quote only. Fathom's pricing page now says "talk to sales" for Enterprise. Budget for it only if you need SSO, SCIM or a signed BAA.

Hidden costs and catches
- 2 user minimum on Team and Business. A solo user cannot buy Business for CRM field sync.
- Zapier and Make are "limited use" on Premium. Heavy automation needs a team plan.
- Bot free capture is a Mac beta on every plan; Windows users get a bot.
- Languages are not listed on the pricing page, so check support for non English meetings before you buy.

Is Fathom worth the price
Free is worth it for almost anyone; it is the default starting point we recommend. Paid plans are fairly priced for small teams on Team, and Business is worth it for sales teams that want coaching and field sync in the same tool as their notes.
