Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Granola costs $0 on Basic, $14 a user a month on Business and $35 a user a month on Enterprise, as listed in October 2026. Business is billed monthly only; annual billing exists only on Enterprise. The free plan has no daily transcription limit, so the real reason to pay is note history beyond 30 days and integrations beyond Slack.

Prices from granola.ai/pricing and billing terms from Granola's help center in October 2026. The help center lists Enterprise as "from $35", so large contracts may differ.
Every plan includes the core product. Bot free capture from your device audio, AI notes, speaker tagging, templates, recipes, multi language support and the desktop, iOS, Android and Apple Watch apps. Audio is deleted after transcription on every plan.
Business adds unlimited history, model selection in AI chat, pre meeting briefs, follow up emails, a workspace dictionary, integrations, API access, centralized billing and MCP access to personal and public workspace notes.
Enterprise adds workspace usage analytics, workspace wide sharing and retention policies, admin enforced "let people know you are using Granola" notices, SSO (for teams of 50+ users), SCIM, HIPAA compliant workspaces, MDM app wrapping and an audit API.
What the limits mean in practice
30 day history on Basic means you can take unlimited notes for free, but last month's notes vanish from the app until you pay. Granola says you can export a CSV of titles and summaries for your full history from settings, which is emailed within a few hours.
No daily transcription limit on any plan, per the help center. Unlike Otter or Plaud, you never run out of minutes.
MCP access on Basic covers only your personal notes from the last 30 days.
Monthly only, and what that costs
Because Business has no annual option, Granola's sticker price is its real price.
| Tool | Monthly | Annual equivalent | 12 months, 1 user |
|---|---|---|---|
| Granola Business | $14 | Not offered | $168 |
| Otter Pro | $16.99 | $8.33 | $99.96 annual |
| Fireflies Pro | $18 | $10 | $120 annual |
| Krisp Core (bot free) | $16 | $8 | $96 annual |
| Fathom Premium | $20 | $16 | $192 annual |
On monthly billing Granola is the cheapest of the group. On annual billing it is one of the more expensive, because rivals discount 20% to 51% for annual billing and Granola does not.
Worked examples
Founder or investor with back to back calls. Basic is enough if you act on notes within a month. Business at $168 a year makes sense once you search old meetings.
Team of 10. Business is $1,680 a year. Fireflies Pro annual is $1,200 and Otter Pro annual is $999.60, but both join as bots by default.
Team of 60 that needs SSO. Enterprise at $35 a user is $25,200 a year at list price. Ask about annual terms; it is the only plan where Granola negotiates them.
Accepted startup or student. 12 months of Business free.
Hidden costs and catches
- No annual discount below Enterprise.
- Salesforce needs Enterprise at $35 a user. HubSpot, Attio and Affinity are on Business.
- No video recording on any plan; Granola is a notepad, not a recorder.
- SSO needs 50+ users on Enterprise, according to the help center.
How Granola compares on price
Granola is the cheapest bot free tool on monthly billing and has the most usable free plan of the bot free group. See every seat price in the category in the AI Price Index.
Is Granola worth the price
Yes for people who hate bots and live in meetings: $14 a month for unlimited history, integrations and no minute caps is fair. Teams that would pay annually anyway can get more for less from Fireflies or Otter, and teams that need Salesforce or HIPAA should price Enterprise against Fathom.
