Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Rosie costs $49 a month for 250 minutes, $149 for 1,000 or $299 for 2,000, as listed in October 2026, and annual billing gives 2 months free. Most businesses that want direct calendar booking should budget $149 for Scale, which is still the cheapest published 1,000 minute plan we track. Rosie does not publish an overage rate.

The price list
All prices are per month as listed on Rosie's pricing page, monthly billing.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month equivalent | Minutes | Per included minute | Message scenarios | Booking | Transfers |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Professional | $49 | about $40.83 | 250 | about $0.20 | 2 | Text booking links | No |
| Scale | $149 | about $124.17 | 1,000 | about $0.15 | 5 | Google Calendar, Calendly | Warm and live |
| Growth | $299 | about $249.17 | 2,000 | about $0.15 | Unlimited | Google Calendar, Calendly | Warm, live and waterfall |
| Enterprise | Quote | Quote | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Annual equivalents assume the listed 2 months free (10 months paid for 12).
All plans include 24/7 answering, simultaneous calls, automatic training from your website and Google Business Profile, custom FAQs, 10+ voices, English and Spanish, recordings, transcripts and summaries, spam detection, Zapier, the website chat widget and native iOS and Android apps. Scale adds texting callers during calls. Growth adds custom agent training, white glove onboarding and priority support.
Add on: website texting costs $50 a month for 25 conversations, then $1 per conversation.
What the limits mean in practice
Minutes are not calls. Divide minutes by your average call length. At 2 minutes, Professional covers about 125 calls and Scale about 500. At 4 minutes, it is about 62 and 250.
Message scenarios are the distinct message taking flows Rosie runs, such as new customer, existing customer, emergency. Two on Professional is tight for a business with several service lines.
Booking is the big step up. On Professional, Rosie texts a link and the caller books themselves. On Scale it books the slot during the call. If booking is why you are buying, compare Scale, not Professional, against rivals.
Transfers. Warm transfers brief your staff before connecting; live transfers connect directly; waterfall transfers on Growth ring several numbers in turn.
Monthly bill at 200, 500 and 1,000 minutes
| Minutes a month | Plan | Monthly bill | Annual equivalent | Per minute | Calls at 3 minutes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 | Professional | $49 | about $40.83 | $0.25 | about 67 |
| 500 | Scale | $149 | about $124.17 | $0.30 | about 167 |
| 1,000 | Scale | $149 | about $124.17 | $0.15 | about 333 |
The 500 minute row shows the gap in Rosie's ladder: there is nothing between 250 and 1,000 minutes, so a business at 300 minutes pays $149. If you need booking anyway, that does not matter, since Scale is the booking tier. Model your own volume in the calculator.
Hidden costs to plan for
- Overage. No published rate. A busy month past your plan's minutes is an unknown cost. Get the rate in writing or size up.
- Booking tier. Direct booking costs $149, not $49.
- Website texting. $50 a month plus $1 per conversation over 25.
- Integrations. Beyond Google Calendar and Calendly, CRMs go through Zapier, which has its own subscription.
- Minutes on transfers. Ask whether the time Rosie spends on a warm transfer counts toward your minutes.
Annual vs monthly
Annual billing gives 2 months free, a saving of about 17%: $98 a year on Professional, $298 on Scale and $598 on Growth. Pay yearly only after a month or two of real usage.
How Rosie compares
Bills at the same minute volume, cheapest published plan, October 2026.
| Product | 200 minutes | 500 minutes | 1,000 minutes | Booking on entry plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rosie | $49 | $149 | $149 | Text links only |
| Dialzara | $99 | $199 | $349 | Yes |
| My AI Front Desk | $99 | about $169 | about $289 | Yes |
| RingCentral AI Receptionist | $99 | $249 | $499 | Yes |
| Ruby (live humans) | $720 | $1,725 | Quote | Yes |
Rosie is the cheapest at all three volumes, and by a wide margin at 1,000 minutes. Against Goodcall, which bills unique callers, Rosie wins on short calls and loses on long or repeat calls: 500 calls of 3 minutes is $299 on Rosie and $129 on Goodcall. See every tracked rate on the AI Price Index.
How to keep the bill down
- Pull last month's total call minutes before choosing. Under 250 means Professional.
- Start the trial on Scale if you need booking, so you test what you will pay for.
- Use conditional forwarding so Rosie only takes after hours and overflow calls.
- Pay annually once usage is stable for 2 free months.
- Ask for the overage rate before your busy season.
Is Rosie worth the price?
Yes for most local and home service businesses with short to medium calls. $149 for 1,000 minutes with booking, transfers, English and Spanish is the best published deal in AI reception. Skip it if your calls are long or your callers ring repeatedly, where Goodcall is cheaper, or if you need a human backup, where Smith.ai fits. Read the Rosie review or see Rosie alternatives.
