Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Avoma is the best AI meeting assistant for sales and customer success teams that want notes in the CRM at a published price. Every plan includes unlimited recording, transcription in 70+ languages, AI notes, a scheduler and CRM sync from $19 a seat billed annually. The catch: there is no free recorder plan, and coaching and forecasting add ons can more than double the seat price.

The most sales ready pick here: CRM sync to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Copper on every plan, 70+ languages and unlimited storage. It has no free recorder plan, only a 14 day trial, and coaching and forecasting are paid add ons that can double the seat price.

What it is
Avoma combines four tools that sales teams usually buy separately: an AI meeting assistant that records, transcribes and summarizes calls; a meeting scheduler with 1:1, group and round robin booking; conversation intelligence for coaching; and revenue intelligence for deal tracking. It joins Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and GoToMeeting and captures dialer calls from Aircall, Dialpad, RingCentral and Zoom Phone.
The pitch is that one system covers the meeting from booking to CRM update: a prospect books through Avoma, the call is recorded, AI notes and a follow up email draft are generated, and the notes are saved to the deal in Salesforce or HubSpot.

What paid seats are. Only people who record meetings need a seat. Managers who just read notes and watch clips can be viewers at no cost.
Uploads and imports. You can upload 5, 10 or 20 pre recorded files per user per month on Startup, Organization and Enterprise. Bulk importing an old library may carry a one time fee.
Worked examples
- Five rep startup, notes only: Startup annual at $19 x 5 = $95 a month ($1,140 a year).
- Ten rep team with coaching: Organization annual at $24 + Conversation Intelligence at $29 = $53 per seat, $530 a month.
- Fully loaded seat: Organization annual $24 + both intelligence add ons at $29 each = $82 a seat, or $77 on Startup. On monthly billing the same Organization stack is $109.
Against rivals: Fireflies Business is $19 per seat annual, Fathom Team $15, tl;dv Business $29, and Gong is quote only with a platform fee. See the AI Price Index and best AI note takers.
Key features
AI meeting assistant
Unlimited recording and real time transcription, AI summary notes, Ask Avoma questions about a meeting, and AI drafted follow up emails, all on Startup. Organization adds custom AI topics and note templates, so notes follow your MEDDIC or BANT fields.
CRM auto save
Notes save automatically to Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive or Copper from the entry plan. Many note takers put CRM sync behind their business tier.
Built in scheduler
1:1 scheduling on Startup; group and round robin scheduling on Organization. Lead Router (add on) routes inbound demo requests to the right rep, which can replace a separate routing tool.
Conversation Intelligence (add on)
Coaching tools: call scorecards, talk patterns, smart playlists of best calls and AI automations. Organization includes a limited version; the add on unlocks the full set.
Revenue Intelligence (add on)
Deal and pipeline insights built from call data, for managers forecasting from what buyers say.
Languages and translation
Transcription in 70+ languages on every plan, and translation of transcripts and notes from Organization up.
Dialer coverage
Phone calls through Aircall, Dialpad, RingCentral and Zoom Phone are recorded and summarized like video meetings, useful for inside sales.
Admin and API
Organization adds org level policies, API access, webhooks and a customer success manager. Enterprise adds global Ask Avoma across all meetings, team specific access controls, SSO (SAML and OIDC), retention policies, concierge onboarding and quarterly business reviews.
What users say
Avoma rates 4.6 on G2 from 1,365 reviews, one of the larger review bases in the category. Reviewers praise transcription quality, AI summaries, coaching scorecards and the HubSpot and Zoom integrations. Recurring complaints are reduced accuracy with background noise or overlapping speakers, a recording bot that sometimes joins late or drops, and forecasting that is shallower than dedicated revenue platforms.
Privacy and security
Avoma's security page lists SOC 2 Type II, with the report shared with mid market and enterprise clients on request, and ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for its AI management system, which few note takers hold. Recordings and transcripts are encrypted at rest and in transit, hosted on AWS in the United States. It supports GDPR with consent notifications and access and deletion controls. HIPAA, SSO, retention policies and signed DPAs are Enterprise only. The security page does not address whether customer data trains AI models; ask the Trust Center at trust.avoma.com.

Verdict
Avoma is the strongest value for sales and success teams that want one tool for scheduling, notes, CRM updates and coaching at a price they can see. Start on Startup at $19 a seat annual, keep managers as free viewers, and add coaching only for the reps who need it. If you only want transcripts, a cheaper note taker with a free plan is the better buy.
