Synthflow Review 2026: Pricing, Features and Verdict
The no code voice agent platform for contact centers and BPOs, judged on its published pricing, builder, telephony, compliance and verified reviews.
By , research by the BestBots team · Updated Oct 19, 2026
Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Synthflow is one of the strongest no code voice agent platforms for contact centers and BPOs in October 2026: a visual Flow Designer, automated testing, its own telephony network, connectors for Genesys, Avaya, Cisco and RingCentral, and a compliance list that includes HIPAA and ISO 27001. The catch: contracts start at $30,000 a year, so it is no longer a small business tool.

The strongest no code option for contact centers and BPOs, with 200+ integrations and a long compliance list. It no longer publishes self serve pricing: contracts start at $30,000 a year, which rules it out for small businesses.

What it is
Synthflow is an AI voice agent platform for automating phone calls, with chat, SMS and WhatsApp on the same platform. It positions itself as a "Voice AI operating system" for enterprises: you design agents visually, test them automatically, deploy them on Synthflow's own telephony and monitor every call.
Synthflow says it has handled 500M+ customer calls, now 65M+ a month in 30+ countries, and cites 99.99% uptime. Through a partnership with Freshworks, its voice AI runs inside Freshcaller, Freshdesk and Freshservice, where Synthflow reports up to 65% of routine voice requests automated.
Synthflow used to sell self serve monthly plans to agencies and small businesses. Its pricing page now lists enterprise contracts only.
Pricing explained
| Item | What Synthflow publishes |
|---|---|
| Starting price | Enterprise contracts from $30,000 a year |
| Pricing factors | Call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs, launch support |
| Included | Enterprise SLA and support, native telephony or SIP, custom concurrency, routing, escalation and fallback logic, CRM and contact center integrations, MSA and DPA, security review, implementation, onboarding, testing, training and launch |
| Per minute rate | Not published |
| Free plan or trial | None listed |
$30,000 a year is $2,500 a month. For context, that buys about 30,000 minutes a month on Vapi's budget components or about 26,000 on Retell's, before HIPAA and concurrency. If your volume is below roughly 20,000 minutes a month, Synthflow's floor probably costs more than a self serve platform would. Above it, ask for an effective per minute rate and compare on the AI Price Index.
Key features
Flow Designer and subflows
The visual Flow Designer defines every step of a call, connects APIs and keeps the agent on business logic. Subflows act as specialized agents that handle tasks independently, so a complex line (verification, then billing, then scheduling) is a set of modular pieces rather than one giant prompt.
Test Center
Every agent is tested with simulated calls that measure accuracy, response quality and compliance against your KPIs before customers call. This is the "Evaluate" step in Synthflow's BELL framework.
AI sandbox and versioning
Preview, compare and roll back agent versions, and deploy updates without downtime.
In house telephony
Synthflow runs its own communications infrastructure with multi cloud redundancy and failover, and deploys voice infrastructure in the regions you need. You can still bring your own carriers, SIP trunks or PBX. It claims latency under 100 ms, which is far below what other vendors publish and comes without a stated method.
Contact center and CRM integrations
Synthflow lists 200+ integrations, including Cisco, Avaya, Genesys and RingCentral for contact centers, Salesforce, HubSpot and GoHighLevel for CRM, and Zapier and Cal.com for automation and booking. Agents can update records, route calls and trigger downstream processes during a call.
Monitoring and Auto QA
Real time monitoring covers every call, webhook and API. Auto QA analyzes live conversations for accuracy and intent and feeds results into the next version. Fine tuning on your past calls is described as a coming capability.
Forward deployed engineers
Synthflow's engineers launch agents in weeks, and it promises measurable ROI in the first 60 days. Customer stories cite Medbelle, a UK and EU healthcare company, with 60% better scheduling efficiency and 30% fewer no shows.
What users say
Synthflow holds 4.1 on Trustpilot from 215 reviews, with 79% five star and 11% one star, but only 6 reviews in the last 12 months, so most ratings predate the enterprise shift. Praise centers on voice quality, ease of use and a broader feature set than rivals. Recent complaints cite slow support (one reviewer waited four days), charges after cancellation, integration failures, bots drifting from instructions and white label branding that did not go away.
Privacy and security
Synthflow says its infrastructure is certified across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS and GDPR, with full encryption, audit logs and region based hosting, and its pricing page adds ISO 27001 with EU and US hosting options. Enterprise contracts include MSA and DPA support and a security review. Synthflow also says its agents follow defined logic and approved knowledge sources to keep replies on script; no vendor can guarantee zero hallucinations, so test edge cases.
Setup and rollout
Synthflow sells through sales, so a rollout starts with scoping rather than a signup. Based on what its pricing page includes and its BELL framework, expect this sequence:
- Scope the contract. Synthflow prices on call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs and launch support, so bring your monthly minutes, peak concurrent calls, carrier or contact center platform and compliance requirements to the first call.
- Security review. MSA, DPA and an enterprise security review are part of the package; budget time for your own procurement and legal teams.
- Build. Forward deployed engineers and your team design flows in the Flow Designer, split complex lines into subflows and connect CRMs, calendars and contact center systems.
- Evaluate. Run simulated calls in the Test Center against your KPIs for accuracy, quality and compliance before any customer hears the agent.
- Launch. Route a slice of traffic through Synthflow telephony or your SIP trunks, then expand by queue or region.
- Learn. Auto QA and real time monitoring feed the next version, and the AI sandbox lets you roll back if a change underperforms.
Synthflow says customers see measurable ROI in the first 60 days. Ask for the launch plan, success metrics and exit terms in writing, given the support and billing complaints in recent reviews.
Who it is for
- Contact centers and BPOs automating tier 1 and overflow calls
- Enterprises on Genesys, Avaya, Cisco or RingCentral
- Freshworks customers who want voice AI inside Freshdesk and Freshcaller
- Operations teams that want no code control plus vendor engineering support
Who should skip it
- Small businesses and agencies; the $30,000 floor rules them out
- Developers who want to pick every model; see Vapi
- Buyers who want to test before talking to sales; Retell has $10 in free credits
- Teams that weigh recent support reviews heavily
Alternatives
- Retell AI: self serve no code builder, published pricing, HIPAA included; see Retell AI vs Synthflow
- Vapi: developer platform at $0.05 a minute plus models; see Vapi vs Synthflow
- PolyAI: fully managed enterprise voice agents
- Bland AI: its own models and one all in rate
Verdict
Synthflow is a strong enterprise platform: the Flow Designer, Test Center, in house telephony and contact center connectors cover what BPOs and large support teams need, and the compliance list is long. It is no longer for small teams, and its pricing is opaque beyond the $30,000 starting point. Recent Trustpilot complaints about support and billing are worth raising in procurement. Shortlist it if you run a contact center on Genesys or Avaya; otherwise start with Retell or Vapi.
