What it is
Krisp started as a noise cancellation app that removes background noise, voices and echo from calls in any conferencing tool. It has since added an AI note taker, recording, accent conversion and, for call centers, voice translation and agent assist. Krisp says it has 7M+ users and has processed 130M call transcripts.
The meeting product works as a virtual microphone and speaker on your computer. That design is why it needs no bot: whatever app you use for the call, Krisp hears it. The same approach lets it record outbound phone calls on mobile and take notes in in person meetings.

Prices are as listed on krisp.ai/pricing in October 2026. Annual billing saves 50% on Core and Advanced.
Core is one of the cheapest bot free seats. At $8 a user annual it is below Granola Business ($14, monthly only) and Otter Pro ($8.33, with a minute cap). Monthly, at $16, it is mid pack.
Storage is the real limit. Core caps you at 10 GB. Audio is small, but Krisp also records video, and video fills 10 GB much faster. Heavy video recorders should budget for Advanced.
CRM costs extra. Salesforce and ConnectWise are Advanced only, at $15 annual or $30 monthly. Fireflies includes Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive on a $10 seat.
Call center pricing is separate. CC Core starts at $15 per agent per month billed annually, with voice translation and voice security as add ons.
Key features
Bot free AI note taker
Krisp captures from your device, so there is no "Krisp Notetaker" in the participant list. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and any other voice app, with no plugins or extensions, according to its note taker page. Notes come in short or long formats with action items.
Noise cancellation
Removes background noise, other voices and echo from both inbound and outbound audio, on any headset and any app. It is included and unlimited on every paid plan. No other note taker we track bundles this.
Accent conversion
Adjusts your accent in real time while keeping your voice, tone and emotion. Core includes 1 hour a day; Advanced 4 hours a day for speakers and unlimited for listeners.
Recording and in person notes
Audio and video recording, in person meeting notes, uploaded file transcription and an outbound phone call recorder on Core.
AI chat and integrations
AI chat across your meetings, integrations and webhooks on Core, and an MCP integration for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and custom clients. Salesforce and ConnectWise wait for Advanced.
Languages
17+ transcription languages with multilingual transcripts on Core.

| Krisp Core | 7 day trial only | $8 | $16 | 10 GB storage |
| Otter Pro (desktop capture) | 300 minutes a month | $8.33 | $16.99 | 1,200 minutes, 90 minutes per meeting |
| Granola Business | No daily limit, 30 day history | No annual option | $14 | Salesforce on Enterprise |
| Fathom Premium (Mac beta) | Unlimited | $16 | $20 | Bot free is a Mac beta |
Prices as listed on each vendor's pricing page in October 2026.
Solo user, one year. Krisp Core costs $96 on annual billing. Granola Business costs $168 on monthly billing, but Granola's free plan may be enough if you only need the last 30 days of notes. Otter Pro costs $99.96 with a minute cap.
Team of 10, one year. Krisp Core is $960 annual; Advanced, which adds Salesforce, is $1,800. Fireflies Pro, which joins as a bot but includes Salesforce, is $1,200.
What users say
Krisp holds 4.7 on G2 from 1,612 reviews and 4.7 on the App Store from 267 ratings for its newer note taker app. Trustpilot is lower at 3.0 from 412 reviews, as listed in October 2026.
On Trustpilot the praise is for the noise cancellation, the time saved by transcripts and notes, and some support teams that went out of their way. The complaints are specific: high memory use even when idle on MacBooks, an app that keeps launching after people try to uninstall it, auto renewals without notice and refused refunds, lost meeting notes, and slow support. Turn off auto renewal if you only want one billing period, and watch Activity Monitor during the trial if you run an older Mac.
Privacy and security
- Certifications: SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS 4.0 listed, with encryption in transit and at rest.
- No bot: capture runs on your device, so no third party participant joins your calls. That is a privacy plus for the people you meet with, but you still need to tell them you are recording.
- Enterprise controls: SSO, SCIM, SOC 2 report access, data center location choice, and private on device transcription and recordings.
- HIPAA: listed on Enterprise; BAA signing is available for teams with 100+ seats.
Small healthcare practices should note that 100 seat minimum for a BAA. Fathom lists a signed BAA on Enterprise and Read AI offers HIPAA on Enterprise+ from 5 seats.
Who it is for
- Remote workers in noisy places who want noise cancellation and notes in one app.
- Support and sales reps who use accent conversion on calls.
- People who refuse meeting bots and work on Windows as well as Mac.
- Field staff who record phone calls and in person meetings.
Who should skip it
- Anyone who wants a free plan. Fathom and Granola both have one.
- Sales teams on a budget that need CRM sync. Fireflies includes it at $10.
- Small healthcare teams that need a BAA under 100 seats.
- Heavy video recorders on Core's 10 GB.
Alternatives
- Granola: bot free with a free plan. See Granola alternatives.
- Otter.ai: bot free desktop capture and $8.33 annual Pro. See Otter alternatives.
- Fathom: unlimited free recordings. See Fathom alternatives.
- Plaud: a hardware recorder for in person meetings and calls.
Verdict
Krisp is two products in one subscription, and the bundle is the point. If you already pay for noise cancellation, the note taker is close to free, and Core at $8 a user annual is one of the cheapest bot free seats you can buy. If you only want meeting notes, the lack of a free plan, the 10 GB cap and Salesforce on Advanced make Granola, Fathom or Fireflies better first stops. Use the 7 day trial on your noisiest week of calls; that will tell you whether Krisp is worth it.

Krisp lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS 4.0 compliance with encryption in transit and at rest. HIPAA, BAA signing (for teams of 100+ seats), SOC 2 report access and on device transcription are on Enterprise.
