Outreach Review 2026: Amplify Pricing, AI Agents and Verdict
The enterprise sales engagement platform rebuilt around AI agents, judged on its published packages, buyer reported costs and what users say about support.

Fact checked against each company's published pricing, documentation and verified user ratings. How we score
Outreach is the best fit for sales orgs of 25 or more reps that want sequencing, calling, conversation intelligence, deal management and forecasting from one vendor, now run by AI agents. It is a poor fit for small teams: every package is quote only, the median buyer pays about $45,600 a year, and support is the top complaint in reviews.

Outreach is the deepest sequencing and deal execution platform for large sales orgs, with four Amplify packages that add AI agents, live coaching and forecasting on top of per seat licenses and 10,000 to 100,000 AI credits. Every package is quote only (Vendr's median buyer pays $45,600 a year), onboarding fees of $5,000 to $25,000 are reported, and Trustpilot reviewers (2.4 from 41) mostly complain about support and renewal pricing.

What it is
Outreach was one of the two original sales engagement platforms, with Salesloft. Reps use it to run sequences of emails, calls and tasks, log activity to the CRM and manage their day. Over time it added a dialer (Outreach Voice), conversation intelligence, deal and pipeline management, forecasting and an AI assistant called Kaia.
Outreach now positions itself as an "agentic AI platform for revenue teams," redirects outreach.io to outreach.ai, and repackaged everything into four Amplify packages with AI credits. Its homepage pitch: "Stop renting software. Start hiring AI agents." Outreach says sellers close over 2 million opportunities a month on the platform. Named customers include Avis, SailPoint and WithMe.
Pricing explained
Outreach's pricing page lists four packages and no prices. Pricing combines per user licenses with consumption based AI credits. There is no platform fee and support is included. You can buy extra credit packs, and add ons include data sharing, connectors, additional instances and listener licenses.
| Package | AI credits | Built for | Key additions | API calls |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amplify Essentials | 10,000 | Conversation intelligence and coaching | AI Assist, Meeting Prep Agent, coach cards, live coaching cards, deal health, transcription, sentiment | Not listed |
| Amplify Core | 25,000 | Pipeline creation and account management | Multichannel sequences, AI Assist for accounts, emails and calls, account planning, call insights, engagement reporting | 250,000 |
| Amplify Plus (most popular) | 50,000 | Revenue acceleration | Everything in Essentials and Core, Outreach Voice dialer, deal and pipeline management, win loss | 500,000 |
| Amplify Pro | 100,000 | Revenue orchestration | AI forecast projection, scenario planner, forecast rollups, territory management, multi currency, managed services | 1,000,000 |
Essentials and Core are "choose one" entry packages. Note that Essentials does not include sequences; it is a conversation intelligence product.
What buyers report paying
| Data point | Figure (Vendr) |
|---|---|
| Median contract | $45,600 a year |
| Range | $8,660 to $215,400 |
| Purchases analyzed | 919 |
| Average negotiated savings | 12.44% |
| Onboarding fees | $5,000 to $25,000+ |
| Volume discounts start | 20 to 25 users |
Vendr says multi year terms often cut effective annual pricing by 15 to 30% and that bundling add ons up front beats adding them later. These are buyer reported figures, not Outreach prices. Compare the published seat prices of other tools on the AI Price Index.
The two meter problem
Seats are predictable; credits are not. Outreach does not publish how many credits each action uses, so ask for a credit rate card, a usage report from a comparable customer and the price of top up packs before you sign. Otherwise the AI that sold you the package becomes the line item that surprises you at quarter end.
Key features
Sequences and engagement
Multichannel sequences of email, calls and tasks, meeting scheduling, engagement and AI performance reporting with revenue attribution, a mobile app and a Slack app (Core and up).
AI agents and AI Assist
AI Assist across accounts, emails, calls, meetings and deals, a Meeting Prep Agent, research and deal agents, data enrichment and an Outreach MCP server and client, so agents can work from tools such as Claude.
Conversation intelligence and coaching
Real time transcription, action item detection, sentiment analysis, playlists, meeting insights and integrations with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Cisco Webex. AI coach cards score calls automatically, and live coaching cards surface content during a call.
Deal and pipeline management
Deal health and alerts, pipeline management, team performance and win loss outcomes (Essentials and Plus), plus account planning and relationship maps.
Forecasting
On Pro: AI forecast projection, scenario planner, rollups, trends, territory management, multi currency and parallel forecasts. Outreach claims 81% accuracy predicting deal outcomes on Plus.
Data accuracy and deliverability
Outreach is not a data vendor. It enriches records but expects you to bring contacts from a CRM or a provider such as ZoomInfo or Apollo, so data quality depends on that source. Deliverability depends on your domains and send volume; Outreach is designed for reps sending from their own mailboxes at human scale rather than for blasting from dozens of warmed inboxes like Instantly.
What users say
Trustpilot: 2.4 from 41 reviews, with 12% five star, 7% four star and 81% one star, and only five reviews in the last 12 months. That is a small, old sample for a company of Outreach's size; most enterprise buyers review it on G2, which blocked our fetch.
Complaints: slow or absent support, an unhelpful knowledge base, an interface that reviewers call confusing despite AI additions, renewal price increases without flexibility, outdated training materials and implementations that took months.
Praise: satisfied users find it easy to use once set up and effective for campaigns.
Privacy and security
Outreach lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 (privacy), ISO 42001 (AI management), HIPAA and Cloud Security Alliance STAR. Its trust center documents are shared through your account executive rather than publicly. It publishes a subprocessor list and governance controls for user and data settings. For AI features, ask whether your call recordings and emails are used to train models and how long transcripts are retained.
Who it is for
- Sales orgs with 25+ reps and a RevOps team to administer it
- Companies that want engagement, conversation intelligence and forecasting in one vendor
- Regulated teams that need HIPAA or ISO 42001 from their sales platform
- Salesforce centric orgs consolidating Gong, Clari and a sequencer
Who should skip it
- Teams under 10 reps; lemlist, Apollo or Reply.io publish prices and start same day
- Buyers who need a contact database included; see ZoomInfo or Amplemarket
- High volume cold emailers; see Instantly
- Anyone who needs predictable spend and cannot get a credit rate card
Alternatives
- Salesloft: the closest rival, now with Clari Forecast
- Gong: stronger conversation intelligence, with Gong Engage for sequences
- Amplemarket: all in one with data for smaller teams
- Apollo: the budget platform with database, sequences and dialer
Verdict
Outreach has one of the most complete revenue platforms on the market and a serious compliance stack, and its Amplify packages finally make clear what each tier includes. It still asks buyers to accept two unpublished meters, seats and AI credits, plus onboarding fees and a support reputation that trails its product. Large teams with RevOps support should shortlist it alongside Salesloft and Gong and negotiate a credit rate card and renewal cap. Smaller teams will get more value from tools with published prices.

Manychat4.1Frequently asked questions
How much does Outreach cost?
Outreach publishes no prices. It charges per user with no platform fee, plus AI credits for agent work. Vendr reports a median Outreach contract of $45,600 a year across 919 purchases, with a range of $8,660 to $215,400, and onboarding fees of $5,000 to $25,000 or more.
What are Outreach AI credits?
AI credits pay for discrete AI tasks such as generating a personalized message or completing a search. Packages include 10,000 (Essentials), 25,000 (Core), 50,000 (Plus) or 100,000 (Pro) credits, and you can buy extra credit packs any time. Outreach does not publish how many credits each action costs.
Which Outreach package do I need?
Core if you mainly need sequences and AI help for prospecting. Essentials if you mainly need conversation intelligence and coaching without sequences. Plus, the most popular, combines both with the Outreach Voice dialer and deal management. Pro adds AI forecasting and managed services.
Is Outreach worth it?
For a sales org of 25 or more reps that wants sequencing, calling, coaching, deal management and forecasting in one vendor, it can be. For small teams, the quote only pricing, onboarding fees and support complaints make lemlist, Apollo or Reply.io the better buy.
What AI agents does Outreach have?
Outreach lists a Meeting Prep Agent, research and deal agents, AI Assist for accounts, emails, calls, meetings and deals, AI coach cards with automated scoring, real time content cards during calls, deal health alerts and, on Pro, AI forecast projection.
Does Outreach include contact data?
Outreach includes data enrichment but not a full prospecting database like Apollo or ZoomInfo. Most customers pair it with a data provider.
Is Outreach HIPAA compliant?
Outreach lists HIPAA among its compliance programs, alongside SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001 and CSA STAR. Ask for a BAA and the trust center documents, which Outreach shares through your account executive.
Is Outreach better than Salesloft?
Outreach is the stronger pick for teams that want sequencing, coaching and forecasting in one contract with HIPAA. Salesloft, now merged with Clari, is cheaper at the median and has Clari's forecasting. See [Outreach vs Salesloft](/outreach-vs-salesloft).
