Salesloft is a strong single vendor pick for mid market and enterprise teams on Salesforce that want sequences, call recording, deal management and forecasting together, now that its merger with Clari closed in December 2025. Weigh three risks first: quote only pricing (Vendr median $30,740 a year), the 2025 Drift breach and reported 60 day auto renewal clauses.

By Salesloft

Since the Clari merger closed on December 3, 2025, Salesloft sells cadences, signal based prioritization, call recording, deal management and Clari's forecasting in one system for 4,000+ customers. It is quote only (Vendr's median buyer pays $30,740 a year), its Drift product was breached in August 2025 through stolen OAuth tokens, and Trustpilot reviewers (2.2 from 19) report 60 day auto renewal clauses.

What it is

Salesloft built one of the first sales engagement platforms: cadences of emails, calls and LinkedIn tasks that reps work through each day, with activity logged to the CRM. It added conversation intelligence and deal management, and it owns Drift, the website chat and conversational marketing product.

On December 3, 2025, Clari and Salesloft completed a merger first announced on August 7, 2025. Steve Cox, a SaaS executive with 25+ years of leadership experience, became CEO, and the companies committed to double R&D spending. The combined company sells what it calls the Predictive Revenue System to more than 4,000 organizations, including Adobe, 3M, IBM and Zoom. It says it ingests more than 10 billion revenue interactions. Clari Forecast keeps its name and its own login, and clari.com redirects to salesloft.com.

The pitch is that one data and AI engine captures every signal (emails, calls, website visits, CRM changes), prioritizes them, triggers agents and pushes next steps to reps, managers and the CRO.

Pricing explained

Salesloft's pricing page sends you to sales. There are no published plans or prices. The best public data is from Vendr:

Data point Figure (Vendr)
Median contract $30,740 a year
Range $5,152 to $146,494
Purchases analyzed 710
Average negotiated savings 18%
Essentials list About $75 to $100 per user per month (negotiated $60 to $85)
Advanced list About $125 to $150 per user per month (negotiated $100 to $130)
Premier list About $165 to $200+ per user per month (negotiated $130 to $170)
Onboarding fees $5,000 to $25,000+, often negotiable

Vendr reports volume discounts at 25, 50 and 100+ users and 15 to 30% lower annual pricing on multi year deals. Add ons such as Conversations, Rhythm and Deals price better when bundled at signing. These are buyer reported figures, not Salesloft prices.

Price math

  • 10 reps on Advanced at negotiated $115 a user: $13,800 a year, plus onboarding.
  • 25 reps on Premier at negotiated $150: $45,000 a year.
  • Add Clari Forecast: priced separately; ask for a bundled quote.

Contract terms to watch

Trustpilot reviewers describe auto renewal clauses that require 60 days' notice, collections threats over unpaid annual prepayments and charges after non renewal requests. Get the notice period, the renewal price cap and the cancellation contact into the order form.

Key features

Cadence

Multichannel sequences with AI agents that research accounts, identify buyers and keep prospects engaged. An AI email assistant composes and edits emails, changes tone and shortens copy.

Rhythm

Collects buyer signals across your stack and turns them into a prioritized daily workflow for each rep, with the reason for each action.

Conversation Intelligence

Records and analyzes calls, pulls information into frameworks such as MEDDPICC and flags reps with low win rates or recurring objections for coaching.

Deals and Inspect

A shared real time view of every opportunity, risk, blockers and the buying group, with stalled deals surfaced in a Command Center. Inspect brings pipeline health and team performance into one view.

Clari Forecast

AI forecasting that predicts outcomes and spots slipping deals weeks before quarter end, now part of the same platform.

Revenue Cadences and Analytics

An operating rhythm for pipeline reviews, forecast calls, QBRs and 1:1s, plus AI interpreted reporting and coaching recommendations.

Integrations and MCP

Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Gmail, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Snowflake, Databricks and DocuSign appear on the platform page. A spring 2026 update added an MCP server so AI tools can query Salesloft data.

Data accuracy and deliverability

Salesloft is not a contact database. It works from your CRM and a data provider, so data quality depends on those. Reviewers report sync problems with both Salesforce and HubSpot and features that do not work as documented. Test bidirectional CRM sync on a sandbox before rollout and agree on field ownership between Salesloft and the CRM.

What users say

Trustpilot: 2.2 from 19 reviews, with 21% five star, 11% two star and 68% one star.

App Store: 3.9 from 130 ratings for Salesloft Mobile.

Complaints: a clunky product with crashes and integration problems, outdated documentation, aggressive renewal practices including 60 day notice clauses, cancellation routed through sales instead of support, and limited onboarding sessions for some customers.

Praise: useful coaching features such as a live coaching lounge, customizable deal views and quick support responses for some reviewers.

Privacy and security

Salesloft's trust center lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and GDPR, and publishes subprocessor changes, including 1Mind (May 2026) and Ada (March 2026).

The trust center also documents the Drift incident in detail. According to Salesloft and Mandiant's investigation summary, a threat actor ran reconnaissance in the Salesloft and Drift environments between March and June 2025, then accessed Drift's AWS environment, obtained OAuth tokens for Drift customers' technology integrations and used those tokens to access data through the integrations. Salesloft retained Mandiant in late August 2025, advised Drift customers to treat all Drift integrations and related data as potentially compromised, took Drift offline, rotated customer and internal credentials and brought Drift back on September 16. Mandiant reported no ongoing compromise and only limited reconnaissance in the core Salesloft application.

What this means for buyers: the incident involved Drift rather than the core sales engagement product, and the response was thorough and public. It is still the most serious security event of any vendor in this category. Ask for the Mandiant summary, connect only the integrations you need and review OAuth scopes.

Who it is for

  • Mid market and enterprise teams on Salesforce or Dynamics
  • Clari customers who want engagement and forecasting from one vendor
  • Sales managers who want a prioritized daily list for reps
  • Orgs consolidating a sequencer, call recorder and forecast tool

Who should skip it

  • Small teams; lemlist, Apollo and Reply.io publish prices
  • Buyers who need HIPAA; Outreach lists it
  • Teams that want an autonomous AI SDR; see Artisan
  • Anyone uneasy with the Drift incident who cannot complete a full security review

Alternatives

  • Outreach: the direct rival, sold with AI credits
  • Gong: deeper conversation intelligence plus Gong Engage and Forecast
  • Amplemarket: data, sequences and dialer for smaller teams
  • Apollo: the budget all in one

See Outreach vs Salesloft for the head to head.

Verdict

The Clari merger makes Salesloft one of the few platforms that covers the whole cycle from first cadence to forecast call, at a median price below Outreach and Gong. Its weak points are commercial and security history: quote only pricing, reviewer reports of hard renewals and the 2025 Drift breach. Shortlist it if you are a Salesforce shop that wants Clari forecasting, and negotiate the renewal terms as carefully as the price.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Cadence, Rhythm, Conversations, Deals and Clari Forecast in one platform since the December 2025 merger
  • Rhythm turns signals across the stack into a ranked daily to do list for each rep
  • SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and GDPR listed in its trust center
  • Agents for MEDDPICC deal summaries, stalled deal alerts and coaching recommendations

Cons

  • No published prices; Vendr's median buyer pays $30,740 a year
  • Drift, a Salesloft product, was breached in 2025: attackers stole OAuth tokens and used them to pull data from customers' connected systems
  • Trustpilot score of 2.2 from 19 reviews, with 60 day auto renewal notice and collections threats reported
  • Product roadmap is still merging two platforms, so naming and packaging may shift

Frequently asked questions

Did Salesloft and Clari merge?

Yes. The merger was announced on August 7, 2025 and completed on December 3, 2025, with Steve Cox appointed CEO of the combined company. It sells a combined platform it calls the Predictive Revenue System. Clari Forecast keeps the Clari name, and clari.com now points to Salesloft.

How much does Salesloft cost?

Salesloft does not publish prices. Vendr reports a median contract of $30,740 a year across 710 purchases, with a range of $5,152 to $146,494. It reports list prices of about $75 to $100 per user per month for Essentials, $125 to $150 for Advanced and $165 to $200 or more for Premier, before discounts.

What happened with the Salesloft Drift breach?

In 2025 a threat actor accessed Drift's AWS environment and stole OAuth tokens for Drift customers' integrations, then used them to pull data from connected systems. Salesloft took Drift offline, hired Mandiant, rotated credentials and brought Drift back online on September 16. Mandiant found only limited reconnaissance in the core Salesloft application.

Is Salesloft safe to use now?

Salesloft says Mandiant verified the remediation and the separation between Salesloft and Drift environments, and it holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701. Review which integrations you connect, scope OAuth permissions narrowly and rotate tokens on a schedule, whichever vendor you choose.

What is Salesloft Rhythm?

Rhythm collects buyer signals from across your tech stack and turns them into a prioritized daily list of actions for each rep, such as replying to a pricing email or adding an account with an intent spike to a cadence.

Is Salesloft worth it?

For mid market and enterprise teams on Salesforce that also want Clari's forecasting, it is a strong single vendor option. For teams under 10 reps, quote only pricing, onboarding fees and annual auto renewal make published price tools like lemlist or Apollo the better value.

How do I cancel Salesloft?

Check your order form for the non renewal notice period. Trustpilot reviewers report 60 day notice clauses and being billed after giving notice. Send written notice to your account executive and billing contact well before the deadline and keep confirmation.

Is Salesloft better than Outreach?

Salesloft is cheaper at the median and now includes Clari's forecasting; Outreach has a broader compliance list including HIPAA and an all in one AI credit package. See [Outreach vs Salesloft](/outreach-vs-salesloft).
